Are you up for the opportunity of a lifetime? If so, we are seeking a Supply Planner to effectively manage the inventory planning process, with a focus on minimizing costs and optimizing inventory. Key Accountabilities: Purchase Order & Inventory Management Utilize company tools to analyze, recommend, and execute inventory optimization opportunities based on historical trends and customer forecasts. Process purchase orders; act as a liaison between the employees of Berlin Packaging and its suppliers. Confirm, follow up, and expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery. Resolve discrepancies and/or issues as they occur during the purchase order cycle. Resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner. Manage and schedule transportation needs. Support management of inter-unit stock requests and transfer entries. Maintain replenishment triggers to help branch optimize purchasing activities. Supplier Management Resolve discrepancies and/or issues as they occur during the purchase order cycle. Facilitate the escalation process to meet customer needs. Effectively manage supplier performance by assisting with quality concerns. Cost Reduction & Margin Enhancement Use independent judgment to identify, recommend, and execute opportunities to optimize inventories and drive cost savings without negatively impacting customer service metrics. Partner with Logistics Coordinators to determine most cost-effective inventory movement options. The Supply Chain Planner, Senior will support the planning process for regional business. The Supply Chain Planning team is responsible for securing materials used in Zebra's operations. Supply requirements are moderated by the team to ensure that inventory positions are appropriate to meet the demand requirements relative to forecasted levels, inventory on order and in transit from distribution centers, product life cycle, quality, and special customer requirements and /or projects. The team cooperates with Global Demand Planners, Buyers, Operations, Order Management, Logistics, Finance, Helpdesk and Customer Experience Management teams. This position requires hybrid work in either the Lincolnshire, IL or Holtsville, NY locations. Responsibilities: * Work with regional logistics team, global suppliers and Zebra customer base * Report KPIs to regularly evaluate the health and report to management; * Expectations: * Correct and timely update of fulfillment plans * Fast and effective approval of fulfillment strategy * Develop and maintain scorecard to report fulfilment strategy * Develop the methodology to effectively address the bypass the DC (Distribution Center) process through inventory reduction actions and rebalancing of spare pool assets (implement the elements of Six Sigma system, apply right time/right place/right quality mindset) * Facilitate the cross-functional process by proactive feedback and proposals for improvement to ensure internal alignment/joint actions and as a result maximum level of support for Customer * Coordinate and manage the process of fulfilling orders via bypass the DC to Customers in collaboration logistics, finance and other supply planning roles * Develop and share Best Practices within and across the regions in "Bypass the DC" process Qualifications: Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree required (Business, Supply Chain, or Finance preferred) * 5+ years of relevant experience Preferred Qualifications: * International Supply Chain experience in service and/or manufacturing a plus * Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, etc.) * Experience with Oracle ERP * Six Sigma certification preferred * Experience creating SOP's and streamlining processes Zebra is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
