Join Varonis' Managed Data Detection and Response (MDDR) team as a MDDR Intern and gain hands-on experience in data security. As an intern, you will support our mission to protect customer data by assisting in monitoring, triaging, investigating, and escalating security incidents. Responsibilities:
Assist in monitoring and responding to detections within the Varonis platform.

As a data analytics intern, you will be working closely with the data team as we build and improve upon our databases, tools, and processes. What we're looking for
7+ years of industry or relevant experience, with proven interest in and knowledge of live service video games
Strong understanding of user-generated content platforms in gaming, and where the market is trending
Strong product intuition and demonstrated background in influencing products by applying data and measurement to drive alignment
Experience with working with development teams to instrument data and ensure continued data quality
Experience with writing efficient and scalable SQL over billions of rows; it is a plus if you are familiar with distributed computing using Spark (Scala or PySpark)
Familiarity with supporting operational processes including: code version control (Github or similar), orchestration (Airflow)
Experience with a variety of causal inference methods and experimental design
Experience with advanced statistical and/or economic modeling is a plus
Experience in a “full-stack” environment - data file ingest, ETL, data storage interaction, application development, communication of results to storage systems, code version control is a plus
Passion for games, analytics, and user-generated content platforms

What We Are Looking For:
The Application Services team supports the admin system and other third-party vendor services used by customers and agents. As an intern, you will work with the Application Services team, utilizing the software development lifecycle, to drive the development and testing of these systems in support of business projects and priorities. Your responsibilities will include providing production support, generating and organizing documentation, and coordinating with other IT teams to deliver solutions.
