Key Responsibilities: Perform data entry tasks related to the receipt of goods, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Validate transportation documents such as the Bill of Lading and enter details into the system. Record weights, dimensions, and other relevant cargo information. Label cargo with accurate information and ensure it is ready for further processing. Utilize scanning and cubic measurement tools (Cubiscan/AKL) to process shipments. Collaborate with forklift operators to ensure proper placement of received goods. Inspect incoming shipments for discrepancies and report any issues to the Warehouse Supervisor. Maintain organized digital and physical records of received cargo. Work closely with other departments to facilitate inventory tracking and shipment processing. Adapt to warehouse software and tools efficiently. Requirements: Strong computer skills, including data entry, database management, and adaptability to new software. At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably within logistics or freight forwarding. Intermediate English (reading and writing) for handling documentation. Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Team player with strong communication skills. Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
