ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Learns and understands the multifaceted processes to safely operate plant equipment.
Participate sin the setup, monitoring and operational adjustments to production equipment such as blanchers, slicers, dicers, and pasteurizers to ensure that quality and production score card targets are met.
Monitors of all Key Process Measures (KPM's) to deliver finished goods that meet all required quality attributes while meeting schedule targets as required by the production schedule.
Participates in daily pre-shift meetings.
Provides support to experienced operators and maintenance personnel in supporting preventative maintenance.
Collects, measures, graphs, and catalogs variances with waste, downtime and foreign material production and product information.
Performs various product sampling tests and enters data in computer.
Must understands Blue Diamond line certification, HACCP process and auditing, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and Safety Practices.
Performs general housekeeping and various sanitation functions.
