The Enterprise Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing and reporting on data from data warehouses. Activities include analyzing and interpreting collected data; spotting trends; creating reports, dashboards, scorecards, and tailored datasets for self-service reporting; engaging with and making recommendations to stakeholders; leveraging data to answer important business questions and inform business decisions; data modeling. Interacts regularly with internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into well-documented, technical solutions. Performs quality review of developed solutions and ensures proper user acceptance. Responsibilities: Utilizes business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Data Bricks, etc.) to develop analytical content including reports, dashboards, semantic models, and data sets. Supports end-user adoption of reporting and creation of documentation as needed. Utilizes relational database and data warehouse design skills to codify business logic in SQL to meet reporting requirements for all areas of operation. Collaborates with business unit owners to elicit requirements using interviews and data analysis, develop and/or improve work product, and create new features in existing report packages. Works to proactively identify data quality issues, debug erroneous logic and perform QA validations. Requirements: High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, finance, accounting, economics, statistics, business management, information systems and/or related preferred. Minimum five (5) years' experience working with Business Intelligence, Analytics, Financial Reporting Data Warehousing technologies, and/or related required. Minimum five (5) years' experience utilizing proven requirements gathering and business analysis techniques required; must have a complete understanding of the business intelligence development life cycle including the ability to conduct interviews and gather the needs for desired outcomes for the BI solutions being built. Intermediate experience querying relational databases and data warehouses (such as SQL Server, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.) required. Advanced Microsoft Excel experience required including writing and using advanced functions and formulas (e.g., lookup & reference, nested logical expressions, aggregation, etc.) as well as advanced Excel features (e.g., conditional formatting, data validation, pivot tables, external data connections) Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word) required. Working knowledge of Tableau or Power BI highly preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills. Strong business analysis skills and technical aptitude.
