We are currently seeking a Director of Sales, North America who will be responsible for leading, managing and coaching a team of sales professionals to accelerate Annual Recurring Revenue. They will do this by protecting the business we have, growing the existing business, and winning new business. North America is one of our most important regions and we are looking for a SaaS leader with appetite for change in a highly competitive market. This is a remote position based in the US-East Coast, which will require regular travel to the office and customer sites dependent on business needs.
What we'll get you doing:
* Vision: Alongside the VP, Sales, set and communicate the vision, mission and values for North America Sales: train, develop, coach and lead the account management team to success.
* Team: Lead a regional sales organization, with direct line management of Strategic Account Managers and Account Managers to close new business, as well as grow existing accounts. Focus the right people on the right accounts. Create and sustain a positive team environment, while continuously appraising and ensuring effectiveness of sales team through objective metrics for improvement.
* Leadership: Become the face of IDBS North America - be a thought leader in the industry; advocate and champion IDBS culture and the Danaher Core Value, acting as staff champion for our North American associates.
* Customer Acquisition. Renew and retain existing customers while growing the market share through new customer acquisition.
* Performance: Drive a high performance, revenue generating team. Drive sales pipeline tracking, accurate forecasting and reporting by effectively using CRM system (Salesforce)
* Customer Relationships: Establish and maintain exec-level contact with customers as part of a relationship matrix, ensuring IDBS is a trusted advisory, not merely a vendor. Includes regular interactions with executives of major and prospective clients, working in partnership with Customer Success Managers.
* Talent. Focus on talent development within your team as well as hiring and retaining a diverse and inclusive workforce. Hold high standards for yourself and your teams. Align field execution with the strategic priorities of the business, coaching and mentoring the commercial team to drive funnel and software bookings growth.

The Regional Sales Director for Great Lakes region will be responsible for the leadership, planning, developing, and controlling of activities to ensure regional revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction goals are met for the region. * Bachelor's degree with 9+ years of Business, or equivalent diagnostic proven experience, Master's degree in Life Science (Clinical Pathology, Molecular Biology, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry) with 7+ years of Business, or equivalent diagnostic industry-related experience.
* Strong executive-level presence and outstanding negotiation skills driving multi-year agreements for premium products.
* Experience in setting both short (1+ years) and long-term (3+ years) business strategies.
* Skilled using a CRM application such as Salesforce.com.
* Strong track record of success in both capital and reagent sales.

The essential requirements of the job include:

The Virtual Sales Manager is responsible for managing a team of Virtual Inside Sales Representatives to meet revenue objectives in assigned business units and product categories. The manager will use leadership experience and digital sales skills to lead Virtual Sales Reps to prospect, cultivate, and ultimately close business.
The Virtual Sales Manager also has oversight to a third party new business generating team on a contractual basis. Lead efforts for outbound lead generation for covering PSS, GSS and CCC solutions within Care and Connectivity.

What you'll be doing
Virtual Sales
* Lead and mentor a team of 9 Virtual Sales Representatives on cold calling and email communication techniques, the strategic selling process, understanding the healthcare system and objection handling, and continuous development of knowledge and skills in the following core areas:
* Product knowledge, application knowledge, Company knowledge, and sales skills.
* Design, maintain, and deliver weekly, quarterly, and annual report cards for the Virtual Sales team, set goals, and measure progress using critical metrics.
* Run sales cadences focused on revenue attainment, pipeline, and opportunity identification.
* Maintain a high client satisfaction rate, as measured by annual surveys and employee engagement.
* Communicate customer feedback to Sales and Marketing leadership to drive innovation, improve products and address concerns.
* Collaborate with Marketing and Sales leadership to evaluate and improve the lead-management process between Marketing, Virtual Sales and Field Sales teams.
* Stay informed on sales analytics, customer communication methods, and industry trends, and lead continuous improvement initiatives based on market changes.
* Own the interview process and new hire training for Virtual Sales team.
* Implement standard methodologies throughout the team
New Business Generation
* Continuous improvement and refinement of messaging, campaign platforms, playbooks, email templates, and tools.
* Initial and continuous training of five Televerde Sales Development Representatives (SDRs)
* PSS Competitive accounts; hospitals with 25 or more beds, IDNs with 5 or less accounts.
* GSS Hospitals with 6 or less Operating Rooms, Ambulatory Surgical Centers with 6 or more Operating Rooms, non-HCA accounts and non-government hospitals.
* CCC one-view sites with competitive patient engagement offerings, competitive accounts of 150 bed or more.
* Creation of target account lists and identification of initial product focus.
* Ongoing evaluation and feedback of the SDRs performance and efficiency, including weekly objection handling reviews with the SDRs.
* Assessment of the program's overall effectiveness and strategic role of Televerde in our long-term growth plans.

* Travel up to 10%
* Previous management experience within a sales organization or demonstrated ability to lead and empower others.
* Validated sales experience, with a consistent track record of success as a seller (digital preferred).
* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively.
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
* This position is on site in Raleigh, NC

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $88,000 to $110,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position is also eligible for commission.
