7.Keeps the grounds free from rubbish
8.Keeps all floors in a clean and attractive condition
9.Makes minor building repairs such as repairing tables, chairs, desks, etc.
10.Reports any property damage immediately to supervisor
11.Remains on school premises during assigned shift and during hours when the use of the building has been authorized and attendance is required
12.Maintains building security at the end of his/her shift ensuring that all doors and windows are secured; all lights, except for those left on for safety reasons, are turned off; and that all interior and exterior doors are secured and locked
13.Conducts an ongoing program of general maintenance, upkeep, and repair of assigned areas
14.Cleans classrooms, restrooms, offices, locker rooms, gym etc.
15.Performs emergency repairs or cleaning services, as necessary
16. Performs other duties as assigned by Facility Manager

The Custodian role is responsible for overall housekeeping and cleanliness of the facility. The ideal candidate must have cleaning experience and have worked in an operation with strict health and safety policies and procedures.
