There are three vacancies for a Janitor in the Property Management Department and these are permanent, full-time positions located in Duluth. Available shifts: 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. at the Duluth Government Services Center on an assigned floor. 4:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. at the Duluth Government Services Center on an assigned floor. 4:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. at the Duluth Courthouse on an assigned floor. The salary range reflected above is the normal hiring range for 2025. The full salary range, including longevity pay, is $20.46 - $27.64 per hour. Employees working a regular shift commencing between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. shall, in addition to their hourly pay, receive a shift differential equal to $.90 per hour. Employees working a regular shift commencing between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. shall, in addition to their hourly pay, receive a shift differential equal to $1.00 per hour. St. Louis County Janitors work collaboratively as a team and independently to provide routine janitorial maintenance work at an assigned County facility. Ensures outside and inside doors are locked and advises supervisor or authorities of suspicious situations. *16. Assists maintenance workers and maintenance helpers as assigned. *17. Demonstrates punctual and reliable attendance in accordance with designated work schedule. *18. Complies with applicable safety rules, laws, and practice; uses proper safety equipment and procedures in all operations. 19. Performs related duties as required.
