Job Overview The Custodian shall provide routine and specialty commercial cleaning support to a variety of buildings.
This support includes, but is not limited to, sweeping, mopping, or scrubbing, removing trash and other refuse; dusting equipment, furniture, and fixtures; polishing metal fixtures; providing supplies and general labor services.
The Custodian is also accountable for maintaining inventory needs.

Directs work of subordinates in providing custodial services for a school;

* Pick up trash in the assigned facility. Empty all trash cans (pulling and lifting up to 25 pounds) and replace trash can liners inside and outside the facility. Dispose all trash into trash compactor or dumpster.
* Mop spills and all sticky surfaces in assigned facility. Mop all rows in assigned facility when needed.
* Sweep or vacuum areas as assigned.
* Use auto scrubber to clean hard floor surfaces as assigned.
* Sweep or vacuum mats at entrances.
