2012

Darren founded CrowdStreet in 2012 after identifying the need to radically improve people’s access to commercial real estate investments via technology.

For 10 years, Byrne built and managed LoopNet, Inc. until its successful sale in 2012 for $900 million.

2013

Founded in 2013, CrowdStreet is one of the higher-volume real estate crowdfunding platforms for stand-alone deals.

2014

The CrowdStreet marketplace is one of the biggest in terms of deal flow, with over 467 commercial real estate offerings since the company launched in 2014.

2017

Christopher Keber joined McCourt Global in 2017 as Head of Investments & Strategy, to lead the firm’s investment strategy, and focus on the growth and sustainability of MG’s global business.

2020

CrowdStreet added several new members to its executive team in 2020, including a Chief Technology Officer, new CFO/COO, and VP of Customer Experience to help accelerate the company’s next phase of growth.

That was true even during the market turbulence of 2020 as the company enjoyed a record-breaking year, which boosted its revenue and cash position.

2022

As of May 26, 2022 , thousands of investors have invested over $3.25 billion in more than 647 projects.
