What You'll Be Doing Accountable for the safe and compliant operation of an CEG wind farm installation. Responsible for monitoring, upkeep, and reporting of plant performance. Create an annual operating plan and provide input on an annual budget. Set direction and measure operational performance of staff and site contractors. Primary contact for issue resolution in performance and land utilization issues. Local point of contact for land owners, local authorities and state agencies regarding environmental and contractual issues involving wind farm installations. Participate in contract negotiations with sub contractors and other vendors for parts and services required for wind power installations for site. Possess the ability to climb and necessary skills to troubleshoot wind turbines at a high level. Perform Operation and switching of high voltage equipment using approved switching orders. Possess the necessary skills to service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair substation and collection system malfunctions. Coordinate efforts of the on site turbine technicians. Assist in SCADA functions such as data editing, report creation, and local SCADA problem resolutions.
