ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Perform as working leadman and direct PT/FT shift crew members daily to ensure daily scheduled tasks are completed on time to meet specific venue schedules. * Train and supervise CFISD staff who perform event conversions to ensure that each is completed accurately, safely and on schedule. * Perform and participate in pre-& post-event setups, inspections, and safety checks. * Keep an ongoing up-to-date inventory of building service equipment and stock items. * Ability to interpret setup diagrams for event layouts regarding staging, tables, chairs, etc. * Work closely with stakeholders and departments to define solutions to ensure event success. * Document all occurrences during conversions, including employee accidents or injuries, facility or equipment damage or misuse, and disciplinary problems with full-or part-time staff members. * Participate in BSC staff members' yearly review process. * Keep the operations storage and work areas clean, organized, and safe. * Work with and supervise personnel involved in operating, monitoring, repairing, and maintaining the facility's lighting systems, environmental controls, event-related equipment, vehicles and other systems as required for the safe and efficient operation of the facility. * Possess the ability to present a positive and professional image during a high-paced work environment. * Recommend purchasing equipment and supplies and prepare specifications for purchases as needed. * Respond to visual and audible alarms from building automation and life safety systems. * Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, expedite workflow and examine work for completeness and quality. * Compile required and special reports and prepare recommendations on findings for evaluation. * Attend and/or conduct facility production meetings and operations department planning sessions, meetings and training sessions. * Communicate effectively orally and in writing. * Assist in other projects as assigned by management.
