Grocery overnight stock crew clerks are responsible for making sure the grocery section of the store is well stocked and orderly in appearance. They stock shelves, order product, build displays, bag groceries for customers, unload trucks, operate a fork lift if trained to do so, organize the back room and clean store areas as required. This position is responsible for maintaining high standards of quality food production and portion control using standard recipes and also for appropriate quantities of food needed to meet menu requirements. The Cook is also responsible for assisting with supervision of the students while they learn kitchen skills; including but not limited to cleaning, sanitizing, and preparing meals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate specialized foodservice equipment. Assist in food production, service, and/or cleanup tasks as assigned. Receive and unpack food and supplies. Understand and comply with all USDA child nutrition programs and the State of Idaho Department of Education Requirements for child nutrition.
