These positions are part-time with variable hours, and support the year-round rental programs on the fairgrounds, as well as the annual Benton County Fair.
JOB SUMMARY
Duties include (but are not limited to) grounds maintenance, minor building maintenance, custodial duties, may be utilized to assist with parks maintenance duties as needed and event set up/clean up.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
The following minimum qualifications are required for this position:
* High school diploma or GED; and
* 1 year of general labor or custodial experience
* Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
* Must be available to work during the Benton County Fair July 30th - August 2nd, 2025.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted. Please note candidates must have at least 6 months of actual work experience to be considered as equivalent.
Ideal Candidate
* Forklift certification and tractor experience.
* Knowledge of and experience with landscaping and park maintenance.
Physical requirements
* Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
* Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
* Must be able to demonstrate the ability to effectively operate a lawn mower and other standard gardening tools.
* Frequently sitting on large tractor mower for hours each day.
* Frequently lifting and carrying 20-50 pound garbage bags.
* May be required to perform work at heights from ladders.
* Some duties may require you to lift, push, and/or pull up to (or possibly more than) 50 lbs.

Crew Member Job 41 miles from Albany
This position is responsible for greeting guests, taking food orders, checking to make sure the guests' order is correct, and serving orders to guests on time. You will provide additional condiments or utensils for guests, keep the department stocked, host birthday party guests, help with cleaning projects, re-stocking items, and help bus lanes and tables.
Job Duties
• Reviewing the board for any parties, groups, or assignments at the start of each shift and completing items on opening, shift change, and closing checklists.
• Using radio to communicate with other employees. Responds promptly to notifications and retrieves orders for guests.
• Using a tray to serve an order to guests at tables or lanes and delivering food items to each guest politely and accurately according to what was ordered.
• Providing guests with outstanding services that consistently exceed expectations in a clean and friendly environment and smiling and attending to guests' needs with an upbeat attitude.
• Helping host Birthday Parties, assisting guests with anything they need (moving their belongings, taking things to their car, taking their cake to the admin building, etc.) to ensure they have a fantastic waterpark experience.
• Ensuring runner carts are clean, organized, and uncluttered, including the one outside of location, if applicable.
• Consistently check trash cans and waste buckets to see if they need to be emptied. Collects trash from the bar and service station and takes it to the compactor at shift end.
• Cleaning tables, chairs, and floors (before, during, and after food service) and wiping all chairs, tables, and table bases at shift end
• Monitoring chemicals to ensure they are not left unattended on the countertops.
• Communicating to a lead or supervisor if there is a problem with a guest's order, including if orders are longer than 10 minutes
• Maintaining the general knowledge of the park, height, and weight restrictions, special events, and general safety
• Maintaining knowledge of the menu to be able to answer questions guests may have about the menu.
• Maintaining punctual, regular, and predictable attendance. Flexibility in hours and the ability to work on some weekends or evenings.
• Working collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
• Respectfully taking direction from the manager.
• Other duties as assigned.
