This includes: underground duct bank skids, modular electrical room equipment skids, overhead conduit racks, modular room kits and assemblies, power walls, and lighting. As a lead fabricator, one of your primary responsibilities is to supervise and manage a team of electrical fabricators.
The ideal candidate will have:
High school graduate, holder of G.E.D., or equivalent studies/experience.
4+ years of manufacturing supervision of crews preferred and meets position requirements.
Electrical experience preferred

9) Follow all company, label and state safety standards and ensure that all employees under your direction comply.

11) Ensuring all work breaks as required are taken by crew each day.

Qualifications and Skills
Education and Experience:
Candidates with background in construction, landscaping, restoration work, waterproofing is helpful. This position requires 1+ years experience working in a wood destroying department or equivalent.
Must have at least 6 months of prior termite control supervisory experience or 1+ years of general field related supervisory experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must be able to motivate others to complete work assignments in a timely and professional manner. The ability to provide training and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing is required. Must be familiar with cell phones, tablets, apps. and technology in general.
Special Requirements:
Must pass a criminal history background investigation; however a conviction of a crime may not disqualify an individual from this position. Valid North Carolina Drivers License with insurable driving record to regularly (daily with few exceptions) operate a company vehicle for business travel as required. Drug testing is required if hired. During employment crew leader must not have any major violation write-ups or Department of Agriculture issued violations.

YOUR PURPOSE
The City of High Point Parks & Recreation is looking for a dedicated Parks Maintenance Crew Supervisor to oversee the upkeep of a large, vibrant municipal park.
In this hands-on leadership role, you'll actively oversee the maintenance of the park's infrastructure, landscaping, and facilities. You'll engage in daily operations, operate specialized equipment, and ensure the park remains in top condition throughout the year.
As a Supervisor, you'll have the opportunity to lead a skilled team, work in a dynamic outdoor environment, and contribute directly to the community's enjoyment of the park. Flexibility is essential, as your schedule may include evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the park's needs.
Essential Tasks
WHAT YOU'LL DO
* Sets up for park rentals and special events; may be required to work nights and weekends as needed for special events;
* Maintains playground equipment and ensures all play areas are safe and in proper working order;
* Performs routine janitorial duties in and around park facilities;
* Assists in maintaining campground pool and other applicable recreation amenities;
* Plans, schedules, trains, organizes and supervises the work of small crews in the daily operations of park maintenance activities;
* Prepares and maintains daily work reports;
* Trains crew members in the safe operation of tools and equipment;
* Supervises and participates in the park maintenance, repair, installation and construction work;
* Mows, trims, cleans and maintains park areas using specialized equipment such as tractors with attachments, reel mowers, pickup trucks with trailers, heavy dump trucks, backhoes, tractor-loaders, chippers, chain saws, riding mowers, airless paint sprayers and other related equipment;
* Inspects work in progress to assure conformance with instructions;
* Makes and adjusts work assignments for respective crew members;
* Works through the proper channels to acquire necessary equipment and materials;
* Applies pesticides and herbicides as needed to maintain healthy and attractive grounds;
* Cuts down and removes dead trees and shrubs; Removes weeds from flower beds;
* Prunes, mulches and plants trees and shrubs;
* Grades, seeds, fertilizes, waters and sods turf areas;
* Installs, repairs and maintains irrigation systems;
* Prepares simple work reports;
* Ensures that all park maintenance work is performed in accordance with OSHA and City Safety Standard and policies.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Formal Education
* Bachelor's Degree in Turfgrass Management or closely related field with at least two (2) years of progressively responsible management level experience in public parks, sports facilities or related field; OR;
* Associate Degree in Turfgrass Management or closely related field with at least four (4) years of progressively responsible management level experience in public parks, sports facilities or related field; OR;
* High School Diploma or GED equivalent with five (5) years of progressively responsible management level experience in public parks, sports facilities or related field.
* Supervision
* At least two (2) years of supervisory experience.
* Must have a North Carolina Pesticide license or be able to obtain during probationary period of one (1) year
* Thorough understanding of local, state and federal safety regulations and OSHA
* Valid North Carolina Driver's License
Physical Requirements
