What you'll do:
Responsible for leading a crew of 2-4 members

Must be able to work well in a team environment as well as efficiently on your own while taking care of client properties and taking pride in the end results of their work.
Interact with clients on a daily basis communicating the process and expectations of services needed and services performed along with recommendations for other Ryan services needed on their property.
Possess a thorough knowledge of Design/Build practices as well as other RYAN services.
Coach team members to develop skills, work efficiently and gain landscape knowledge
Ensure all team members have the tools, resources and required training to accurately meet the service demands of our customer
Requirements
4 years of landscape crew lead experience
General knowledge of equipment maintenance
Ability to safely operate equipment such as trenchers and vibratory plow
Valid driver's license
Ability to obtain DOT medical certification
Ability to lift 75 lbs.
Ability to push/pull objects while walking up to 3 miles a day

Coordinates use of equipment between the Public Works Departments.
Performs necessary tasks involved with monitoring and maintaining the utility department equipment.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Illinois Department of Central Management Services is seeking to hire a Building Laborer within the Bureau of Property Management. This hands on position performs routine manual labor in assisting skilled carpenters, electricians, engineers, plumbers, and contractual staff for the Illinois Department of Transportation at the Hanley Aeronautics/Airport and Central State Garage Facilities in the Central & Southern region. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Perform coax, fiber, line, and hybrid cable installations, connector installation, sweep and test assisting, weatherproofing, color-coding, labeling, etc. Connect coax feedlines and jumpers per piping diagrams and support and fasten adequately for a quality, lasting installation.
Complete grounding, terminations, fastening, proper bolting and antioxidant use, support of leads, cadwelding as required, etc.
Assist with overall tasks required to build and install a site per customer specs, complete daily Jobsite Hazard Assessment (JHA) forms, assist with overall crew work, maintenance of vehicles and equipment, etc.
Ensure a high level of safety and quality control requirements are upheld and mentor less experienced crew members in safety awareness. Must be able to lead safety meetings when required.

Position Overview
The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an energetic individual to serve as Facilities Laborer. Under immediate supervision, this position will move furniture and equipment, assist with organizing and boxing closed case files, and perform delivery of records and files between offices. The position will operate various types of equipment and will assist with moves of facilities. Essential Functions
Serves as Facilities Laborer for DCFS
Operates various types of equipment, such as pallet jacks, dollies, hand tools, ladders, power carts, stackers, postage meter, duplicating equipment, faxing, and copying machinery, etc.
Assists with moves of facilities
Delivers and checks quantity and quality of paper supplies to ensure paper is available to all downstate offices
Performs scanning of property control for downstate sites on an as-needed basis

Minimum Qualifications
Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of high school
Preferred Qualifications
2 years of experience in a public or business organization performing facility moves of office furniture, equipment, etc. from one work site to another
2 years of experience conducting inventories of facilities for a public or business organization
2 years of experience in a public or business organization exercising basic knowledge of building maintenance equipment use and care in the performance of duties

Key Responsibilities

Complete daily site field reports.
Complete daily site Job Safety Analysis.
Collect all on-site closeout documentation and submit it to the closeout manager per the deliverable timelines.
Participate in continuous training offered by CMS Wireless, including weekly safety calls.
Responsible for site quality, timeliness, accuracy, and schedule. Do grounding, terminations, fastening, proper bolting and antioxidant use, support of leads, cadwelding as required, etc.
Assist on the overall job, including groundwork, all tasks required to build and install a site per customer specs, maintain a safe work environment, daily use and completion of JSA forms, assisting with overall crew work, and maintenance of vehicles and equipment, etc.
Must stay current with industry trends and developments through ongoing professional development.

Physical Demands
This job operates in a field environment. Must be in good physical condition with the ability to routinely bend, squat, climb, kneel, push, pull, lift 50lbs or more, lift in awkward positions, stand, and twist for extended periods.

May be required to work long and unpredictable hours.
