The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for sales profitability and organic sales growth through new customer acquisition and existing account development within an assigned geographical territory. Maximize business relationships and create optimal customer experiences.
CORE & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Maintains up to date product knowledge, understands industry-specific trends, and competitive landscapes to proactively manage market opportunities and challenges.
Generates revenue by developing sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building meaningful relationships with potential customers, providing comprehensive technical and product descriptions, preparing product solution options, and closing the sale on accounts within the assigned territory.
Develops accounts by introducing and expanding product lines, highlighting product features and benefits, and by training customer's sales teams.
Grows and maximizes the assigned territory by adding new accounts, introducing new products, growing business for existing accounts, and by implementing new and resourceful selling strategies.
Reports to and consistently communicates with the Director of Sales to ensure the proper management and growth of the accounts.
Contributes to the outstanding reputation of the company by always putting the customer first, treating other employees with respect, and conducting business with highest integrity.
Establishes, develops, and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory to generate new business for the organization's products.
Effectively manages and directs manufacture rep agencies and align business objectives with rep agencies in the territory.
Actively utilizes CRM and provides management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Participates in national, industry and customer trade shows.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Must possess sales experience and cooperative contract development/management. Possession of at least a high school diploma is required and a post-secondary degree is preferred. Must successfully pass all required background screenings and obtain the requisite security clearance(s) to gain access to locations which require more stringent background scrutiny (example: military bases/installations). Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach). Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and contact management software. Must have the ability to travel both domestically and internationally, so the ability to travel by plane, operate a motor vehicle and maintain a driver's license are required. Overnight domestic and international travel required.

* Selects type and size of pipe and related materials and equipment, such as supports, hangers, and hydraulic cylinders, according to job specifications.
* Inspects worksite to determine presence of obstructions.
* Plans sequence on installation to avoid obstructions and activities of other workers.
* Cuts pipe using hacksaw, pipe cutter, hammer and chisel, cutting torch and pipe cutting machine.
