Job Expectations * Commitment to AFW's safety policies and procedures and ability to promote awareness. * Maintain a positive working relationship with the customer service and delivery check in departments. * Identifying and reading reports, tickets and UPC labels. * Efficiently disassemble and assemble merchandise. * Able to operate a radio frequency (RF) scanner. * Able to correctly use a hand truck. * Able to safely handle product from 0 to 35 feet above the ground. * Inspect all power equipment and complete the Vehicle Inspection Report before operation. * Inventory Customer Owned Goods (C.O.G) and ensure the paperwork is filled out correctly. * Possess the knowledge and the ability to perform the correct lifting/team lifting techniques. * Confirm all paperwork is filled out correctly by the delivery teams. * Efficiently wrap and protect merchandise by using the appropriate materials prior to put away. * Maintain a clean and safe work environment. * Professional with good communication skills. * Demonstrate high level of attention to detail and professionalism at all times. Physical Requirements: * Requires the ability to maneuver in confined and at times congested areas. * Requires the ability to stand, walk, stoop, & bend for 8 hours or more daily. * Requires constant use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back. * Requires lift, lower, push and pull all sizes of merchandise up to 100 lbs. frequently and ability to handle/manipulate up to 250 lbs. frequently. * The Delivery Return to Stock (RTS) Associate position requires lifting, gripping, bending, kneeling, stooping and moving merchandise 8 hours or more daily Lift, lower, push and pull all sizes of furniture up to and in excess of 100 lbs.
