    Courier Description: For the position of Courier, ideal candidates are individuals who are able to distribute packages and documents for institutions, businesses, government agencies, and individuals with punctuality and professionalism. Couriers need to be able to pick up documents and/or packages from the customer's office or home, and deliver them to the final destinations within the same area. They also deliver important items such as passports, medical specimens, airline tickets, financial documents, legal documents, etc. Courier Responsibilities: Distributing packages and documents for institutions, businesses, government agencies and/or individuals. Picking up documents and/or packages and delivering them to their final destination within the same area. Communicating with customers regarding any special instructions with documents or packages. Maintaining delivery logs including all required information and following all required procedures. Strictly abiding by all traffic laws. Receiving payments from customers. Obtaining signatures from customers. Courier Skills and Qualifications: Valid driver's license, GPS (unless provided), reliable vehicle (unless provided), experienced driver, interpersonal communication, familiarity with the local area, understanding of traffic patterns, punctual, good sense of direction, ability to keep basic accounting records, customer service, able to meet strict deadlines, ability to follow procedures and rules (including traffic laws).
