What you will Do: * Transports laboratory specimens, mail and other materials and/or supplies utilizing excellent customer service skills. * Follows established procedures and policies including infection control and bloodborne pathogens. * Handles chemicals according to established safety protocols. * Meets defined workload productivity standards. Supports and utilizes LEAN principles. * Utilizes courier logistical software and devices to track packages and document route * Ensures temperature dependent materials are transported at their required storage temperature. * Maintains cleanliness of vehicles and courier bags. * Attends and participates in department huddles. * Follows established policies and procedures to accurately track packages and obtain optimal transport time. * Participates in teaching peers.
