Job Summary
As an ABA Behavior Technician at Accel Therapies, you will play a vital role in implementing individualized ABA therapy programs for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Program Supervisor (PS), you will work directly with clients to provide one-on-one support and interventions that target specific behavior goals. Your role typically involves:
Client Assessment: Completing comprehensive clinical assessments to determine a client's substance use disorder (SUD) treatment needs. Completing clinical assessments to assist with evaluation for comprehensive SUD treatment services in the institution.
Treatment Planning: Creating individualized SUD treatment plans in collaboration with the client to chart their recovery pathway and identify target areas for change.
Individual and Group Counseling: Providing individual counseling to support the client's skill development toward identified behavioral target areas. Providing group counseling sessions to help clients learn and practice skills for recovery management, relapse prevention, and sober living.

Working Conditions
This is a full-time temporary position and is not represented. This position is located in Ontario, Oregon at the Snake River Correctional Institution (SRCI). You will work in close contact with adults in custody in the institution setting and may be exposed to hostile situations or incidents. You will perform work inside a 24/7 facility, shifts may vary to include early shifts and late shifts. You will have contact with adults in custody (AICs) during treatment/consultation, at times out of visual range of security staff. You will be exposed to AICs that may become physically and/or verbally abusive and your role requires vigilance and awareness.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the National Security Solutions Senior Manager, you will provide lab and field support to the Unmanned Aircraft Systems program.
Lab work\: sensor testing and integration, modification of UAS or support systems to fit current testing parameters, organization of equipment for test events.
Field work\: Travel to desert site to include early mornings or late evenings, field work both in a mobile lab and a UAV hangar to conduct test card generation, validation, and analysis.
This team works a 9x80 schedule onsite at our Research Education Campus facility in Idaho Falls, ID.
