We are seeking a Case Manager Mann Place team. Mann Place is a supportive housing facility serving men who have experienced homelessness. The successful candidate will oversee the short-term housing program at the Mann Campus Recovery Center to ensure that all residents are receiving the appropriate services that will help them end their homelessness. The successful candidate will collaborate with all Mann Campus staff to integrate its programs and services into the residential programs. This position will also provide direct client service. Hours are generally Monday - Friday and may vary, including some evenings and weekends.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
Provide a preliminary assessment and evaluation of all documentation to satisfy eligibility requirements prior to clients being admitted to the facility.
Work closely with Mann Campus staff to ensure issues with program participants are effectively coordinated.
Coordinate all ancillary services as required. This includes coordinating with substance abuse providers, life skill classes, job skill assessment and training, off-site counseling services, and any other services deemed necessary to resolve a resident's homelessness.
Timely documentation in resident file.
Ensure that residents follow all facility rules and regulations to provide a safe atmosphere.
Track all residents' services for the purpose of measuring the success of the program in accordance with program goals and objectives, grant compliance and government regulations.
Serve as a liaison with other programs within the agency and the community including attendance at monthly program meetings and select community meetings.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Mann Campus Supervisor according to business needs.

Mental Health Therapist

The CARE Center at Barry University is currently seeking two part time Independent Licensed Mental Health Counselors for a temporary grant-funded assignment. The Licensed Mental Health Counselor is a funded position through The Children's Trust grant. The Licensed Mental Health Counselor is an integral part of the CARE Center and provides Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to parents/caregivers and children (ages 6-18) who have experiences traumatic experiences. TF-CBT sessions are provided through the CARE center at Barry University in-person and virtually. The goal is to help children and families develop the skills they will need to promote meaningful healing and development. Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) is delivered as weekly 40-50-minute sessions over three to seven months depending on the level of need. Counseling sessions may center on the mental health and conflicts within the family. Standardized tools and evidence-based therapeutic models and psycho-educational interventions can be used.
The clinician in this position will administer assessments and will provide mental health counseling using the Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach aimed at assisting children and their caregivers or parents in addressing post-traumatic stress and associated emotional and behavioral issues. If the licensed mental health professional (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW) lacks TF-CBT certification, this position requires mandatory training paid by the grant for the clinician to be certified (TF-CBT) to meet the grant requirements.
This is a grant-funded, part-time, in-person position
