Job Summary: The Mental Health Counselor & Disabilities Services Coordinator plays a pivotal role in fostering the psychological well-being and academic success of students within the AdventHealth University (AHU) community. Reporting directly to the Director of Counseling, this individual is dedicated to delivering high-quality, inclusive counseling services and coordinating comprehensive support for students with disabilities. Through a blend of empathetic counseling, strategic program development, and coordination of disability accommodations, the Coordinator ensures that all students have equitable access to educational opportunities and mental health support. The position requires a proactive approach to identifying and addressing the diverse needs of the student body, facilitating individual and group counseling sessions, and working collaboratively with faculty, staff, and external resources to enhance the accessibility of campus services.
