What You'll Do:
Assumes a lead role in a particular content area.
Develops assessment items to be used on District assessments and in the District item bank and develops model SLOs and learning progressions for content area assigned.
Collaborates with other departments in the management, development, and analysis of District-supported assessments and SLOs.
Utilizes the District's item banking system to modify and catalog items as needed.
Provides support and training in the use of various assessments, including semester and course assessments, common formative assessments, and item bank developed interim assessments; assists teachers and administrators with tools and resources to aid instruction.
Develops and provides training and staff development in the areas of assessment administration, ethical assessment practices, and the use of assessment information for instructional improvement.
Assists the Research Team in the development or modification of assessment reports; conducts analyses of assessment results; and supports schools in interpreting assessment results, linking results to curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
Works with network staff to provide support and professional development to District schools in the areas of SLOs, assessment literacy, and the use of online systems to deliver assessments and assessment results electronically.
Collaborates with Curriculum and Instruction personnel on various projects and reports; prepares and conducts presentations for various groups; and responds to administration and school requests for information.
Monitors SLO submissions for content area assigned, determining quality of SLOs and collaborating with schools to create next steps to address SLOs that are not of high quality.

What You'll Need:
Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field is required.

* Provides milieu management, guidance, safety, stability, and direction to clients in early recovery from a trauma-informed lens.

Women with infant children 15 months of age or younger may reside with their child in treatment. The residential programs provide comprehensive treatment services, including but not limited to, individual and group counseling, medication assisted treatment, psychiatric assessment and mental health services, specialized services for pregnant and parenting mothers, community reintegration, case management and coordination of aftercare services.
This position is responsible for assessing clients to determine the appropriate level of care and assuring authorization from Medicaid for admittance into residential treatment at a 3.5 or 3.1 level of care. Job Description
The CU Denver Student and Community Counseling Center (SCCC) provides mental health counseling services to CU Denver Students as well as community members and Denver Public Schools (DPS) students and their families. Fee-paying students receive counseling sessions at no cost. Community members are charged a nominal fee for services.
In addition, our center serves as a training center for counseling graduate students in the School of Education and Human Development (SEHD). We are staffed by psychologists, professional psychotherapists, and advanced graduate-level practicum students. Counseling faculty members, as well as professional staff supervise our students.

The Crisis Counselor is a therapist in the CU-Denver Student and Community Counseling Center. This position falls under the Assistant Vice Chancellor of Health, Wellbeing and Advocacy in the area of Student Affairs. This position will serve the needs of students in crisis to ensure continuity of care. This role will help coordinate services with appropriate internal CU Denver units such as Disability Resources and Services, Student Conduct and Community Standards, Office of Case Management, involved faculty, Office of International Students, Ombuds Office, Auraria Health Center, etc.
The Crisis Counselor will facilitate triage and referral of cases whose level of risk exceeds the counseling center's scope of practice. Colorado Village Collaborative is seeking a Mental Health Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to fill a contract position located in Denver. This person needs to be a strong group and individual therapist, demonstrate insight and understanding with the unhoused population both literal and chronic, be able to shift between intervention models in order to meet the needs of each client(s), be detail-oriented, and possess strong skills for follow-up.
This will be a contractor position with a period lasting until the end of 2025 and does not come with benefits. Potential for contract extension.
