Position Description
Kaleidoscope ABA is looking to hire a Center-based BCBA. As a crucial member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in designing client programming that is ethical, appropriately individualized and implemented with integrity.
*BCBA will deliver direct supervision to their BTs/RBTs as well as manage and supervise a small caseload of 4-6 clients.
*Regularly review data collected in sessions with staff and family, interpret the results, and modify the individualized treatment plan accordingly.
*Provide supervision by observing and having team meetings with the staff and the families.
*Consult with the family regarding any concerns related to treatment, behavior modification or staff.
BCBAs at Kaleidoscope ABA are provided the support of their Clinical Manager; assistance which includes administrative support, scheduling help and general assistance with the BCBA's caseload.
Location and Hours
BCBAs are in the Center Monday-Friday.
Required Experience and Education
* Certified as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) as verified through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
* A minimum of 1 year experience in working with children, adolescents, and/or adults with various special needs.
* Knowledge of appropriate behavioral intervention strategies, earning theories and instructional methods, ethics, laws, and regulations of acceptable behavior interventions.
* Proficient as Office 365, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ABA software platforms
* Ability to meet the rigorous demands of the job, which may include long periods of standing, sitting, following, pushing/pulling equipment, and/or lifting as well as the ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and spend time on their feet as well as an ability to lift children, to 50 lbs., on occasion. You may spend a significant amount of time crouching, crawling, and engaging with children on the floor or standing for long periods.

Position Overview
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst is well versed in the principles and applications of Applied Behavior Analysis and its service provision for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and works with school staff (teachers, administrators and support staff), and/or home staff and parents to facilitate positive behavior change for individuals who exhibit problem behaviors that interfere with the acquisition of skills and with their participation in the community. The Board Certified Behavior Analyst also develops evidence-based interventions for skill development for clients with Autism in line with current research in the area of Applied Behavior Analysis. The Board Certified Behavior Analyst conducts careful assessments including the FBA, VBMAPP, Vineland, PDDBI or other approved assessments to identify the environmental variables that occasion and maintain the problem behaviors and/or the potential skill deficits of the student, and then works with school staff and/or the parents/guardians to develop appropriate treatment plans. When necessary, the Board Certified Behavior Analyst will also address various skill domains (communication, self-help, academic, safety, and social) by developing teaching plans, training others to implement them, collecting reliable and meaningful data, graphing data and regularly monitoring progress. Staff and caregiver training is a requirement in this position as school and/or home staff and caregivers will need to become fluent in the implementation of Behavior Intervention Programs and skill acquisition programs. This position requires regular and timely documentation of consultation services for clinical and regulatory purposes. This professional also supervises and completes performance reviews of staff assigned to his/her cases.
Essential Job Functions
Clinical
* Complete evidence based assessments and documents accordingly in electronic or paper medical records.
* Provide clinical behavioral consultation to staff, school professionals, and parents/guardians, including case conceptualization, behavioral assessments, designing of treatment and teaching plans, data collection, graphing and progress monitoring.
* Ensure high quality of written products including: treatment plans, behavior support plans, teaching programs, data collection systems, graphs and progress reports.
* Provides maintenance of medical or educational records in line with all compliance policies within the organization.
* Provide direct supervision and training to ensure accurate implementation of evidence-based educational and clinical practices.
* Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings when necessary.
* Plan, design and conduct staff training when necessary.
* Complete frequent direct observations and in-vivo modeling of behavior intervention and teaching plan components.
* Complete frequent integrity assessments to ensure fidelity of implementation of behavior intervention plans.
* When required, work interactively and sensitively with parents/guardians to provide training and support.
* Submit all written reports to the clinical supervisor/director for review.
* Comply with monthly supervision requirements.
* Maintain licensure and/or certifications as well as annual trainings as designated by the organization and regulatory agencies.

Administrative
* Ensure that all consultation endeavors comply with regulatory, professional, ethical and organizational policies and procedures.
* Maintain current paper or electronic files as indicated by the clinical team.
Participate in clinical supervision sessions at least monthly with clinical director or supervisor.
Requirements
* Current National certification from BACB
* Licensed mental health clinician, including psychiatrists, psychologists, licensed professional counselors (LPC), licensed clinical social workers (LCSW), Licensed behavior specialists (LBS) or
* Master's Degree from an accredited university in a clinical mental health discipline, such as: Psychology, Counseling, Clinical Social Work, Psychiatric Nursing, and Marriage and Family Therapy and Current certification as Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
* Master's Degree with license for behavior specialist with coursework to include clinical coursework in Autism, foundations of behavioral health and the provision of mental health services (i.e., individual, group and family therapy, abnormal psychology, psychopathology, cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic therapy, crisis counseling, assessment, child development, personality theory, psychotherapy lab, clinical practicum). Other courses may count as determined by review of transcript/syllabi. In order for a degree to count as an ASD behavioral health degree, the degree must contain at least twelve (12) credit hours in core behavioral health coursework as defined above. No more than three (3) of these twelve (12) credit hours can be derived from a supervised clinical mental health practicum experience (teaching/education/other non-clinical practicum experiences will not count). Courses such as statistics, program and policy development, and program administration, will not count as behavioral health courses because they do not include instruction in the direct provision of ASD behavioral health services. If coursework is part of a medical degree, there must be clear evidence that the course was directly related to the diagnosis and treatment of Autism spectrum disorders. Appropriate medical degrees/training will include substantial training in autism spectrum disorders, mental health disorders; medical degrees that are behavioral health-related usually include a residency in psychiatry.
* At least two (2) years verified post-Master's experience providing behavioral treatment and assessment for children and/or adolescents.

Malvern Treatment Centers is seeking a FT Bachelor's level Counselor to work 1st shift, every other weekend at our King Road Campus in Malvern, PA. This position is a full time position which offers a competitive salary as well as benefits for only working two days per week! This position is an ideal position for someone currently pursuing their Master's Degree.
Position Summary: Counsels patients regarding all aspects of their addiction; to be an active member of the treatment team in the formulation of assessments, treatment plans, diagnostic summary, progress notes and continuing care planning. Promotes the safety/wellness and well-being of patients.
Summary of Essential Position Functions:
Administers assessments, establishes and revises individualized treatment goals and participates in formulation of diagnostic summaries.
Documents patient progress in electronic medical record which facilitates UM and corresponds to goals and objectives in treatment plan.
Completes case conference documentation in a timely manner.
Addresses problematic behaviors in patients.
Improves delivery of treatment and participates in ongoing educational process.
Keeps referral sources informed of patient progress in a timely manner.
Maintains communication with patients families and facilitates participation in treatment.
Keeps personal issues separate from therapeutic process and relationships.
Assumes responsibilities for case management, lectures, group therapy as required and asked.
Maintains and sets up aftercare for all patients in a timely manner in case of AMA.
Completes treatment plans and transition summaries on time and in a comprehensive manner.
Performs evaluations for potential admissions and refers patients to appropriate level of care and determines appropriate length of stay based on ASAM criteria
Involves patients in the treatment planning process.
Facilitates transition process in an appropriate manner.
Must complete 25 hours of training per year.
Other functions as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: May give direction and provide feedback on the performance of student interns.
Technical/Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Proficient. Daily use of EMR.
Work Environment and Hazards: No hazardous conditions. Protected from weather conditions.
Physical Requirements: Sedentary work lifting 10lbs maximum

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's Degree (1 year experience required) or Associate's Degree (2 years experience required) from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical specialty in the human services) or other related field which includes a practicum in a health or human service agency, preferably in a drug and alcohol setting. If the practicum did not take place in a drug and alcohol setting, the individual's written training plan shall specifically address a plan to achieve counseling competency in chemical dependency issues,

Current licensure in this Commonwealth as a registered nurse and a degree from an accredited school of nursing and 1 year of counseling experience (minimum of 1820 hours) in a health or human service agency, preferably in a drug and alcohol setting. If a person's experience did not take place in a drug and alcohol setting, the individual's written training plan shall specifically address a plan to achieve counseling competency in chemical dependency issues,

Full certification as an addictions counselor.
