The Child Behavioral Health Supervisor is responsible for the administrative and daily functioning of the Wraparound Program, which includes all the functions necessary for the delivery of services to the institutions and client populations of the community served by this program.
As a Child Behavioral Health Supervisor , you will be responsible for the following:
1. Provide supervision to staff and interns in the children's Wraparound program.
2. Maintain Comprehensive oversight and monitoring of chart documentation compliance, collecting data for analysis of trends and deficiencies, and establishing corrective measures in such instances.
3. Managing staff and department within span of control, including but not limited to: making recommendations with particular weight as to the interviewing, selecting, hiring, and termination of staff; setting and adjusting hours of work; on-boarding and training staff; directing work and assignments; appraising and evaluation of staff work performance; handling of staff complaints and grievances; and disciplining employees.
4. Coordinate, oversee, and provide supervision for all SED Waiver cases.
5. Collaborate across all Children's Behavioral Health programs regarding CMH wraparound cases and SED Waiver cases.
6. Assist in providing coaching, training and direction to all Wraparound staff.
7. Review and organize all treatment records and reports pertaining to the treatment and the rendering of services to children.
8. Work in consultation with the Quality Department to assure that service activities and case records meet or exceed the standards established by accrediting bodies as necessary.
9. Conduct weekly meetings with staff and supervisors.
10. Assess community needs and assign priorities and direct service when indicated.
11. Assess need for psychiatric and psychological services and monitor delivery.
12. Provide emergency assessments to clients in crisis when necessary.
13. Provide feedback to staff regarding performance and address issues as they arise with both staff and supervisor.
14. Assume responsibility for reports required by the Wraparound program, agency or funding sources.
15. Participate in assessment of community needs and consult with community organizations as needed.
16. Participate in agency committees as needed or assigned.
17. Complete documentation in a timely manner consistent with the policies and procedures of The Guidance Center.
18. Complete 25 hours of program and/or position specific training on an annual basis. This includes all required training associated with the fidelity of the wrap around model
19. Other duties as assigned.
