Essential Job Functions:
Participates in morning production meetings and follows all safety procedures and regulations.
Starts Machine according to procedures, alerting maintenance immediately if equipment trouble shooting is necessary.
Verifies that all parts match the label and reports any discrepancies to Supervisor.
Selects the correct program with part label and verifies prior to starting the operation of parts. If in doubt, alerts Lead or Supervisor.
Loads machine with parts in according to procedure ensuring the orientation is correct.
Performs quality checks on pieces to verify correct parts are being produced.
Off loads finished parts and stacks neatly according to procedure.
Continually operates the machine throughout the shift. If completed all orders, checks with Supervisor to determine next task.
Utilizes the light system to alert material handlers when supplies for machine operation are low.
If machine is down for maintenance, the machine operator is expected to check with Supervisor for direction.
Maintains clean workspace and perform end of shift cleaning per procedure.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities:
Good verbal communication skills.
Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.
Ability to keep the production flow smooth and efficient, seeking assistance when necessary.
Must pay attention to detail and manage time well.
Basic ability to read blueprints and understand measurement specifications.

Education & Experience:
Previous production, machine operation and warehouse experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods standing and walking.
Must be able to lift to 30 -60 pounds at times, team lift when necessary.
Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises and smells associated with a manufacturing environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sweep, damp mop, and wet mop tile floors. May occasionally be required to spray buff, strip or wax floors, following center procedure, including the use of wet floor signs.
Report to supervisor any carpeted areas that need cleaning or spot removal.
Vacuum carpeted rooms as applicable.
Dust/damp clean surfaces in patient rooms (furniture, bed frames, windowsills, etc.) following center procedure, including the use of wet floor signs.
Empty trash cans, clean exterior, clean interior, and replace can liner with a clean one.
Clean bathroom sinks, fixtures, and toilets, following center procedure.
Clean glass surfaces such as mirrors, pictures, and windows.
Clean behind and underneath furnishings.
Move furniture to clean behind/underneath, according to center procedures.
Turn bed mattresses after cleaning.
Clean dining area after breakfast and lunch; wipe tables, sweep, mop, etc.
Change soiled privacy curtains and draperies for the outside windows as needed.
Remove and rehang curtains and draperies for the outside windows, using a ladder.
Sweep outside porches, walkways, etc., pick up any trash not properly disposed.
Follow cleaning schedules as set by supervisor.
Follow infection control standards while performing cleaning.
Use isolation techniques (gowns, gloves, special cleaning, etc.) as needed.
Recognize patient rights while cleaning patient rooms. Treat patients and their belongings with dignity and respect.
Safeguard chemicals used, keeping chemicals either locked or in sight
Follow precautions as stated on MSDS for chemicals used.
Assist in the proper care and use of housekeeping equipment, supplies, and storage areas.
Clean and properly store equipment used at the end of each shift, following set procedures.
Inspect equipment prior to use to provide for safe operation.
Report to Maintenance Department any equipment repairs needed throughout the center.
Maintain adequate supplies (soap, lotion, paper towels, toilet tissue, etc.) in bathrooms throughout center
Prevent/remove wax/dirt build-up in corners, around baseboards, or in doorways.
Promotes the image and reputation of the System by exhibiting servant leadership and providing direct and open lines of communication.
Contributes to the work of committees, workgroups, project management, and other collaborative efforts of the System.
Performs other duties as necessary to ensure the success of the System.

SUMMARY

Seizure precautions and administration of IV medication during a seizure.
Admits, discharges and transfers patients as requested.
Documentation and billing of supplies used.
Maintains effective lines of communication with attending physicians.
Assists the Director of Nursing Services to coordinate the care planning/MDS process and committee meetings as necessary.
Participates in patient screening and selection process as requested.
Assists the Director of Nursing Services in follow-up on consultant recommendations, i.e., pharmacy, dietary, etc.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilitates communication between nursing center departments and patient/family members to provide an effective assessment/care plan process.
Establishes open lines of communication with consultants.
Has effective interviewing skills for the purpose of collecting information from patients, families and staff members.
Assists Director with patient or family interviews for assessment purposes.
Assists Director with evaluation of each patient's condition and medical data to determine special needs, or the need to amend the admission assessment.
