Overview We are looking for a professional line cook to prepare food to the exact chef's specifications and to set up stations for the menu. Line cook duties will consist of assisting the chef de cuisine and sous chefs with their daily tasks. Responsibilities
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
Prepare food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the culinary staff
Answer, report, and follow chef de cuisine or sous chef's instructions
Clean up station and take care of leftover food
Stock inventory appropriately
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and members
Maintain confidentiality of all members and Club information
Follows the grooming and uniform standards established for this role

Bilingual Cook Essential Duties:
Prepare and serve pre-selected designated meals
Be knowledgeable of various healthy food recipes to provide an assortment of meals.
Work with Coordinator to develop a menu for the month based on Member and team input
Be knowledgeable of nutritional concerns and dietary restrictions of special needs individuals, i.e., diabetics, people with high blood pressure and high cholesterol, etc.
Clean kitchen and dining areas after meal is served including pots, pans, cabinets, appliances, serving cart, and counter tops.
Ensure preparatory tasks are completed, i.e., defrosting food or counting food items for the next day's menu.
Complete inventory of all items and needed supplies in kitchen for weekly food shopping list.
Practice safe food handling and food safety practices, i.e., proper sanitation, cleanliness, wrapping and freezing and defrosting of food items, handling of leftovers (labeling with dates and contents), use of sharp utensils, etc.

Primary Function:
