Responsible for performing other Dining Services duties when assigned by community leadership in the following areas, but not limited to:
Performs dishwashing tasks to properly wash and sanitize all dishes and china, silverware, glassware, utensils, and cookware.
Operates dish machine(s) according to manufacturer instructions.
Performs light janitorial duties, including but not limited to sweeping work areas, sanitizing production areas, and emptying trash.
Cleans assigned kitchen equipment, including but not limited to stoves, ovens, fryers, microwaves, mixers, slicers, refrigerators, freezers, worktables, prep sinks, ice makers, coffee machines, hoods, and ventilation screens.
Assists with service in the dining areas as needed.

The Dishwasher/Prep Cook maintains cleanliness in the Event Kitchen.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collect used kitchenware from Event Kitchen areas
Load and unload dishwashing machines
Washes specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots)
Stores clean dishes and equipment properly
Sets up workstations before cooking prep begins
Ensures there are always enough clean dishes, especially during peak hours
Maintains cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents) and places orders when necessary
Checks washing machines' operation and promptly reports any technical/performance issues
Removes garbage regularly
Sanitizes the baking area, including the floor
Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
Valid US Driver's License
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
Wednesday through Sunday
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift to 50 pounds.
