Minimum Qualifications
4 years of experience as a journey-level bus, truck, van, or automobile body repairer and painter. A 2-year auto body technician degree from an accredited institution can substitute for up to 2 years of experience.

Greet and take guests' orders with a welcoming demeanor and high level of service. Act as an ambassador of BIMA at all times.
Set up the Bistro for service, making sure food and beverage items are stocked.
Works with the Bistro Manager to create fun and manageable items for a "Happy Hour" menu
Utilize a Point-of-Sale system to take and fulfill orders, in addition to processing payment
Accurately balance the register at the beginning and end of shifts, using worksheets to record income. Inform Bistro Manager of any discrepancies.
Assist with food preparations, restocking, and dishwashing as needed.
Ensure that all areas in the Bistro and patio area are sanitized and cleaned after each use. Strictly follow all museum safety guidelines and policies.
Learn the food and beverage menu, including specials, to provide guests with assistance when guidance is needed to make a selection.
Learn about and remain up-to-date on all departments, exhibitions, and events that take place at the Museum in order to answer questions or direct guests to the proper person or resource.
Work with Bistro Manager to help execute and serve at additional BIMA produced events, such as member parties, festivals, cultural programming events, etc.
Other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:

The Barista makes coffee stand drinks, serves baked goods, makes pizzas and rings up guests.
This role pays an hourly rate of $18 to $19, plus tips.

Responsibilities
Makes Coffee drinks to customers request.
Listening and responding to customer requests or concerns
Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work space including but not limited to disposal of garbage & cleaning dishes.
Serves baked items and prepares and serves pizzas.
Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous cash handling experience preferred.
Current food handler card.
Ability to learn to handle cash and learn to operate a cash register and corresponding system
Excellent interpersonal skills & a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers & guests.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides excellent, respectful customer service to a diverse customer base, in a medical setting
Train new or unskilled employees in the preparation and service of espresso beverages and food items; cleaning and stocking duties and departmental procedures.
Operate all espresso and/or food service equipment and machinery.
Prepare and serve food items. Stock supplies necessary for preparation and service of beverages and food items. Display food and espresso items in attractive manner.
Operate cash register. Handle cash, check and charge payments for beverage and food items in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Possession of, or eligible to obtain a Washington State Food Worker Card within two weeks of employment.

OB SUMMARY
The Barista is responsible for the daily operations in the Café. This position works closely with the Cascade Grill, Fireside Cantina, and Banquets. The barista should feel comfortable working in a small space and independently.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Responsible for the daily duties pertaining to the Quicksilver Café and all café storage areas.
Required knowledge of all equipment functions pertaining to the Quicksilver Café. Must be able to perform all functions if needed.
Responsible for appropriate entry of data in POS systems and inventory.
Adheres to all safety, sanitation, food preparation, food storage and alcohol beverage control policies; including but not limited to Washington State Health and Liquor Department regulations.
Develops and maintains values and reputation with staff, customers, and vendors. Ensures a positive, harmonious, compliant, and cooperative work environment.
Acts as a representative of Crystal Mountain with vendors, guests, and community members.
Ensures the satisfactory resolution of concerns or issues, intervening in complex and sensitive issues.
Abides by all Crystal Mountain employment guidelines.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
Must demonstrate exceptional organizational, communication, and customer service skills with a strong independent work ethic.
This position exercises mature judgment, excellent time management and sound decision making.
A strong proficiency in computer applications including point-of-sale systems.
Specialized training or certification in food service sanitation and proper service etiquette are strongly recommended.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
This position is to work evenings, weekends, and holidays while in operation.
Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 20 pounds on an occasional basis.
Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office equipment on a constant basis.
Auditory and visual acuity to operate computers, phones, mobile devices, and basic office equipment on a constant basis.
