- Pizza tossing, topping, launching, and portioning.
- Performance of quality control assessments, including Slice Quality Rating (SQR), Pie Quality Rating (PQR), Quality Service Cleanliness (QSC), Product and Food Safety Audits.
- Adherence to customer service standards.
- Direct Adherence to Health & Safety standards:
- Monitor and maintain food temperature logs.
- Monitor and maintain food dispositioning documentation, including waste and storage.
- Ensure that food items in storage areas, including refrigerators are properly packaged and labeled.
- At the end of the shift, disposition all food that has been on display or held in the kitchen according to Washington State Health Code and UW Dining policies and procedures, and document waste.
- Ensure that all items in walk-in and in other storage areas are properly labeled per Pagliacci standards.
- Review par levels and ensure the station is properly stocked for the next day, submitting orders through the CBord and franchise portals.
- May perform additional data entry of daily production/waste records in CBord.
- Monitor catering and pickup orders.
- Perform related duties as requested.
Position Dimensions
The position is a nine-month cyclic position that works mid-September to mid-June. Additional work may be available in the summer based on business needs and seniority. While staff are hired into specific positions, they may be reassigned to a different unit or schedule with two weeks of notice.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
- One year of cooking experience or one year as a Food Service Worker. Equivalent combinations of education and/or experience may be substitute for minimum qualifications.
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**
- A satisfactory outcome from the employment verification and reference check processes.
- Pagliacci Core Cook Certification within 1 year of hire date.
- Washington State Food Worker Card within two weeks of employment.

Line Cook/The Dishwasher at Five Iron will support the team leader in managing all aspects of our kitchen. While the main responsibilities are listed below, the Line Cook/The Dishwasher will assist with additional tasks as directed by the team lead. This role is responsible for preparing, cooking, and delivering flavorful dishes to our guests, ensuring that every bite is a satisfying and memorable experience.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Open/close kitchen when needed.
Prepare a variety of different appetizers/entrees for guests and ensure food preparation to keep the kitchen and line fully stocked.
Wash and sanitize all pans, utensils, and dishes.
Clean, sanitize, and maintain dish machine.
Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into dish machine; unload and organize them properly.
Empty trash containers regularly and maintain a clean work area by sweeping and mopping as needed.
Perform additional cleaning duties and clean food prep stations and equipment as requested.
Control and direct the food preparation process while collaborating with front-of-house staff to ensure excellent service.
Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each guest.
Required Qualifications:
At least 1 year of experience as a line cook or in a kitchen environment preferred but not required.
Ability to work independently and with a kitchen team, dividing responsibilities and monitoring staff.
Credentials in health and safety training.
Certification that meets local requirements.
Must be flexible with hours.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs during normal operations.
Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each guest.
