PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES: Prepare food according to guest orders, ensuring each dish meets our high-quality standards Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and stockroom, organizing supplies and equipment for efficient operation Adhere strictly to food health and safety regulations to ensure the wellbeing of our guests and staff Receive deliveries, checking and reconciling contents against orders to ensure accuracy and quality Deliver prepared orders to guests promptly, ensuring a satisfactory dining experience Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils to maintain a hygienic environment Assist in the food preparation process, including cutting, chopping, slicing, and washing ingredients Operate kitchen equipment, such as stoves and deep fryers, with strict adherence to safety protocols Manage inventory and communicate kitchen needs to supervisors to ensure necessary items are stocked Engage with customers when necessary, providing friendly and efficient service at the front counter and register Ensure proper storage of deliveries, organizing supplies to maintain order and freshness. Provide a valid Food Handlers Certificate before beginning duties, demonstrating knowledge of safe food handling practices Perform additional duties as assigned to support the kitchen team and enhance guest satisfaction Requirements KEY COMPETENCIES: Numerical Proficiency: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide two-digit numbers and perform basic operations with American currency, weight, volume, and distance Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze situations and apply logical reasoning to resolve issues effectively.
