Participates in creating and testing new recipes to increase the quality and variety of foods offered to clients and staff.
Maintains consistent portion control of foods served to clients and staff to comply with Food Services budgeted expenses.
Prepares picnic foods and sack lunches for off-site events.

Supervises clients while they perform kitchen house jobs
Maintains a positive working relationship, expressing good agency boundaries, while working with clients in the kitchen.
Oversees clients in completion of their house jobs in a timely manner in order to comply with the agency's need for treatment hours.
When necessary utilizes written warnings to inform Food Services Manager or Lead Cook and clinical staff of clients' noncompliance of performing house jobs.

HOURS AND PAY
This is a full-time position (over 32 hours per week) or part-time (24-30 hours per week) position earning $19.45-20.24 per hour (depending upon experience). This position is non-exempt and eligible for overtime compensation.
