About the Venue
McCaw hall is home to Seattle Opera and Pacific Northwest Ballet. We are a show-based operation that caters to concessions, banquets and catering and our fine dining restaurant venue. Energies are focused on quality food preparations and presentations with seasonal quarterly menu changes.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for cooking and packaging food product which is prepared to order or kept warm until sold.
* Receives verbal orders from the front counter staff for food product requirements for guest orders.
* Responsible for maintaining quality and production standards on all menu items. Food must be fresh and of high quality when served to the guests.
* Responsible for portion control and serving temperatures of all products served in the concession stand.
* Responsible for cleaning, stocking and restocking of workstations and displays.

Cook II at Crystal Mountain Resort is an Intermediate level culinary position
The production of a high quality, healthy, food and beverage product.
Maintain a clean and sanitary work station, kitchen and restaurant; follow proper HAACP procedures.
Assist in recipe adherence and proper production procedures.
Promote positive professional culinary culture throughout our F&B outlets and the Resort.
Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to all established safety practices.
Job Requirements:
3-4 years culinary experience as a line cook
Ability to Obtain WA Food Safety Card within 3 Days of hiring
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Some culinary outlets require Intermediate Skiing/ Snowboarding ability in winter season
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Willingness to learn and develop as a culinary professional
Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.

Women's Residential:
Line Cook to provide 3 family style meals a day to 30 adults and up to 15 infants and preschoolers in an Everett residential program for women with children. Not your typical fast-paced restaurant kitchen - this commercial kitchen is calm and quiet and involves close interaction with residents, who will love your cookies and tasty home-cooked meals.
Casseroles, soups, sandwiches, salads, and meats are everyday mainstays of the lunch and dinner, with hot breakfasts most days. Holidays are celebrated in the dining room with residents and their extended family enjoying your outlay of traditional holiday meals and all the fixings. Menus are prepared with a nutritionist with accommodations for special diets. Our Food Services Coordinator will help train on procedures, meal planning and ordering but the kitchen team does their job with little direction.
Applicants need at least 6 months' experience in food prep/cooking experience.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
One year of institutional food service preparation, presentation and purchasing experience
Some understanding of alcoholism and drug addiction, treatment and recovery supports
Current WA State Food Handler's Permit
Valid Washington State Driver's License, acceptable driving record and be able to operate a company vehicle without restriction
