The Cook uses their knowledge and experience in food production to ensure the proper, timely, and safe preparation and service of food according to established recipes, while adhering to all food safety and sanitation requirements and maintaining a safe and orderly kitchen. Prepares required dietary modifications as ordered.
Uses Sunrise systems per guidelines for order taking and meal delivery to ensure accuracy.
Stocks, rotates, dates, and stores product according to food safety standards and regulations.
Maintains clean and organized kitchen, storage, and work areas.
Completes assigned cleaning duties and ensures accuracy of daily and weekly cleaning logs.
Maintains accurate equipment logs and reports any issues promptly.

Complies with OSHA/British Columbia Workers Compensation Act and Occupational Health and Safety Regulation requirements and Risk Management programs and policies, adheres to safety rules and regulations, and practices safety procedures at all times including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), fire extinguishers, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and Lockout Tagout procedures.
Responsible for performing other Dining Services duties when assigned by community leadership in the following areas, but not limited to:
Performs dishwashing tasks to properly wash and sanitize all dishes and china, silverware, glassware, utensils, and cookware.
Operates dish machine(s) according to manufacturer instructions.
Performs light janitorial duties, including but not limited to sweeping work areas, sanitizing production areas, and emptying trash.
Cleans assigned kitchen equipment, including but not limited to stoves, ovens, fryers, microwaves, mixers, slicers, refrigerators, freezers, worktables, prep sinks, ice makers, coffee machines, hoods, and ventilation screens.
Assists with service in the dining areas as needed.

Qualifications:
One (1) year job related experience including food preparation in a restaurant, hotel, or other similar environment.
High School Diploma/GED.
Maintain the following certifications and ongoing training and re-education as required by Sunrise and regulations and laws as applicable:
CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
ServSafe Manager Certificate.
Local Health Department Food Handler Card.
Prior culinary apprenticeship or training a plus.
Written and verbal skills for effective communication.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to handle multiple priorities.

This position is eligible for a one hundred dollar bonus per quarter when working an average of 35 hours per week over the course of the entire quarter. This bonus is paid in the first pay check after the end of the quarter.
Essential Functions
Properly prepare orders from the guest check following company approved portions, recipe specifications, and timing standards.
Properly store, date, and rotate according to "first in, first out" standards.
Follow proper cutting board standards to avoid cross contamination and administer allergen programs.
Work well with others and assist fellow team members as needed.
Standing and/or walking - 100% of time.
Occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs and frequently lifting up to 25 lbs.
Working in temperatures that may exceed 90 degrees.
The cook will also have to perform other tasks as directed by a supervisor.

Job Description
Car Wash Experience Required: 0 to 6 months
Experience Desired: Previous mechanical or technical experience and/or education
Education Desired: No High School diploma required
Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds
Fuel Clerk Experience Required: 0 to 6 months
Experience Desired: Convenience store experience/Retail experience
Education Desired: No high school diploma required
Certification or Licensing Required: CPR/First Aid/AED Training
Lifting Requirement: Up to 25 pounds
Age Requirement: At least 18 years of age
Job Responsibilities
Maintain safety as the top priority in all aspects of your work, for your Team Members, customers and products.
Direct patrons to entrance of wash station and guide automobile onto wheel track of automatic mechanism.
Activate wash mechanism and observe operation to detect equipment malfunctions.
Hand finish cars as needed.
Hose down the concrete area of the car wash.
Assist in providing value-added services such as vehicle prepping.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure car wash uptime expectations are met.
Maintain cleanliness of equipment, floor, interior and exterior car wash and vacuum areas, etc., to ensure safety and sanitation regulations are met.
Keep car wash area safe and clean by sweeping up debris, shoveling snow and salting as needed.
Clean windows on the car wash building.
Troubleshoot car wash problems and resolve them when allowable by taking direction from the service center.
Additional Job Responsibilities
Ring up customers orders by scanning products or keying price into register according to established company policies and procedures.
Finalize sales and collect payments by totaling order and accepting tender from customer.
Alertly watch customers at pumps to help prevent drive-offs, unsafe misuse of gasoline containers or placement and pumping multiple cars within the same transaction.
Block and straighten shelves as needed.
Assist with light stocking duties and inform management of any out-of-stock items.
Replace misplaced items to the proper location.
Maintain cleanliness of equipment, counter area, floor, restrooms, exterior pump area, etc., to ensure safety and sanitation regulations are met.
Know and follow all state and local laws regarding cigarette sales.
Know and follow all coupon handling procedures.
Understand how to sell lottery tickets and gift cards.
Assist other store Team Members in maintaining security in the store.
Assist in kitchen area as needed.
