Education/Experience:
● High School diploma or equivalent.
● Prior job related experience in preparation of large quantities of food, serving and basic kitchen activities.
Knowledge and Skills:
● Knowledge of delivery of materials, methods of materials handling, safe driving practices.
● Skills to operate motor vehicle safely and responsibly, operate material handling equipment and tools, perform basic math to calculate quantities of items, use calculator and/or computer; use English in both written and verbal form.
Working Conditions:

Position Summary:
The Deli Cook at Uwajimaya prioritizes excellent customer service by performing various cooking tasks, such as boiling, steaming, deep frying, and preparing food. They assemble food items like sandwiches and sushi while maintaining a high level of service.
Position's Key Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service and maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Prep food products for cooking in all Deli areas.
Cook ready-to-eat items following instructions and recipes.
Ensure adherence to health department and company policies to maintain a safe environment for both dining and workplace activities.
Prepare and package deli food condiments for hot and cold cases.
Wrap, label, and price products accurately.
Display prepared foods attractively in hot and cold cases.
