About the Role
DashMart is looking for a motivated individual that excels in fast-paced, physical environments, and is excited to roll up their sleeves and actively engage in day-to-day operations. In this role, your tasks will include:
Inventory receiving and management: Accurately receive and stock inventory, ensuring all products are accounted for and safeguarded against loss or theft. Monitor product quality and freshness and ensure proper product rotation. Follow all HACCP, food-handling and spoilage management processes.
Pick, pack and sort: Use technology similar to smartphone devices to scan packages, pick and stage orders, and conduct handoffs to Dashers.
Delight customers: Communicate clearly and pleasantly with customers through the app when substitution approvals are needed.
Warehouse organization and safety: Maintain a safe working environment by performing all duties in compliance with DashMart safety and security standards. Complete all cleaning and warehouse organization tasks as assigned by management.
Be a team player: Contribute to a positive working environment by bringing the DoorDash “one team, one fight” value to life in all you do. Work with the teams' goals in mind, sharing ideas, opportunities and challenges where appropriate. Compensation
The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee's work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

Essential Duties:

Essential Duties:
As a member of our commissary kitchen team, you will be preparing and packaging our delicious, organic scratch recipes to be sold in our seven locations! This includes the following:
Hands on preparation and production of entire grab and go line, including but not limited to: soups, salads, sandwiches, wraps, entrees, and sides.
Cut, package, weigh and price raw fish for store delivery.
Package, weigh and price all commissary food items.
Fulfill store orders, record and document items for shipment and make ready for delivery.
Use of necessary equipment (Robot Coupe, Meat Slicer, Stand Mixer, Stove top, Ovens, Alto-Sham).
Assume Manager on duty responsibilities as assigned for opening and/or closing the facility.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and all equipment.
Wash dishes as needed.
Dispose of trash and recycling as needed
Works to foster a team environment
Requirements
Qualifications:
High volume commercial kitchen production experience is preferable.
Excellent knife skills and knowledge of safety requirements in a kitchen.
Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and be able to juggle multiple priorities during busy times.
Knowledge of basic computer skills.
Knowledge of safe food handling and protocols and procedures.
Physical Capabilities:
Full sense range (vision, hearing, taste and sense of smell) - the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers.
Lifting, gripping, and carrying objects - up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools, grocery totes and other products.
Stooping, squatting, bending, twisting and kneeling - stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelves and carts.
Walking - short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas.
Standing- prolonged standing.
Work environment - movement based with the majority of time being in motion (walking & standing) rather than sedentary (sitting).
Climate - ability to work in cold environments (cooler, Freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis. Ability to work in a hot environment seasonally and handle hot items frequently.

Operate the functional areas of the breakfast, Evening area, and will serve as the first impression and “face” of the restaurant to all guests. Will assist in service as needed on the floor to maintain a smooth operation and maintain the guest experience while dining. Will ensure the operational abilities of the Breakfast area by preparing for, maintaining, and recovering from various activities within the Kitchen. Also Evening Reception is prepared and maintained at a good level.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet and engage guests
Maintaining the breakfast Buffet area. Keep entrance, Breakfast, and Kitchen areas clean and well organized.

Prepare simple dishes, dressings and foods according to directions and Hilton standards.
Conducts regular inventory of food and kitchen supplies; orders items as necessary to maintain adequate inventory levels.
Maintains a “can do” and a “guests first” attitude at all times.
Works as a member of the overall hotel team to ensure that each guest has an experience that exceeds their expectations
Resolves guest complaints to the satisfaction of the guest; responds promptly to any guest request for service.
QUALIFICATIONS
Prior food & beverage experience - Cooking
“Can do” attitude with a desire to fulfill the needs of the guests
Schedule flexibility to work early mornings (5am to 12pm), weekends, and holidays
Must be able to read and understand English to comply with functions direction
Ability lift, pull, or carry items weighing 50 pounds or more
Prior ServSafe and ABC certifications, a plus
