We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Fusion Technologist to perform a broad range of PET and CT procedures on a fused scanner. Exams will be conducted at one of our busy outpatient cancer treatment centers in Beverly Hills. The successful candidate will be able to perform all functions associated with diagnostic PET Imaging to include radiopharmaceutical preparation and injection, glucose monitoring, radiation safety, and post processing of data.
Summary of Essential Duties:
Performs routine and advanced oncological procedures on a PET/CT imaging device and each of its subsets, utilizing knowledge of radiation/imaging scientific principles, technical skills, and well-developed problem-solving capabilities. Routinely rotates between the two disciplines. Performs routine CT and other radiologic studies as needed.
Operates, calibrates, Quality Controls, and maintains imaging equipment and accessory instruments used in imaging procedures. Performs section specific imaging Quality Control (QC) procedures using established technical factors and image identification.
Processes and reformats all images, per protocol, obtained from the fused modality, or from each of its subsets.
Prepares, dispenses, and administers radiopharmaceuticals and related materials in accordance with Cedars-Sinai radioactive materials license and departmental policy and procedure. Handles pharmaceuticals that may be needed during a fusion procedure and ensures that these medications are ordered and administered by a nurse practitioner or licensed physician.

Summary:
The Robotic Technician is responsible for assisting students, faculty and staff in the completion of coursework and research using the Robot Annex Facilities, which includes the ABB IRB 6700 and related tools. Within a busy and fast-paced Academic environment, the Robotic Technician will also be responsible for advising all Annex users. This position reports to the Facilities Director.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in supervising robot operations and other work within the Robot Annex
Process and troubleshoot digital files
Enforce Annex policies and protocols
Assist in the training and supervision of students and faculty
Repair and maintenance of robot and equipment
Maintain a clean Annex
Tool circulation and inventory tracking
Working with students and faculty to complete construction of fixtures, jigs for Annex
Other tasks, as assigned
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of robot control software and related design software (ABB RobotStudio, Rhino, Grasshopper)
Minimum 1 year experience operating 6 axis robot arms
Minimum 1 year experience with utilizing, developing, and maintaining robot end-arm effectors (could include ceramic extruders, plastic extruders, routers, grippers)
Metalworking experience (welding, cutting, bending and finishing) preferred
Hardware programming (Arduino) and wiring preferred
Comfortable wearing the appropriate respiratory equipment for work in a dusty environment, or where fumes are present, along with any other required safety equipment (face shields/goggles/protective clothing)
Be able to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to work weekends, evenings and some holidays as needed

What you'll be doing:
Responsible for the operation of the test cell/s to complete testing according to the Development or Production schedules and the specific test plan. Operation of the test cell includes but is not limited to:
Installing the engine or Unit Under Test (UUT) according to TRD SOP
Preparing the UUT under test to run by making all neccesary electrical, hydraulic, pnuematic, exhaust and mechanical connections
Fitting any non standard equipment requested on the test plan
Preparing the test cell subsystems such as the oil, water, fuel and combustion air conditioning systems
Starting and running the UUT per test cell SOP's and the specific engine test plan
Monitoring the UUT undertest using direct visual contact, remote monitors, on screen data and also by listening to detect any potential problems or deviations from the established norm
Adjustment of UUT or change of test configuration during the test period as required
Communication of test status to relevant Engineering and Operations staff as required
Communication of any issues with the UUT or test cell to the relevant Enginnering and Operations staff using the Oneplan system as needed
Removal of UUT for shipping or return to Engine Build
Cleaning of test cell in preparation for next test
Collaborate to assure fixturing and tooling is assembled and available in-sync with the production schedule.
Responsible to keep the test cell/s and all sub components in good working order and in a state of readiness to meet schedule demands. This is typically accomplished by but not limited to:
Following the routine maintenance schedule as directed by either OnePlan or the Test Supervisor
Visually inspect the test cell systems and environment for any potential future issues
Daily cleaning of the test cell in readiness for the next test
Use 5S and Kaizen principles to support continuous improvement of the testing process by raising issue to the Test Supervisor and making suggestions for improvement.
