Coordinates required inspections and interface with inspectors and municipal representatives in a timely manner. Knows the rules of each building department concerning timely inspections.

Primary Responsibilities
The CM's responsibilities will include:

· Reviewing progress billings and when necessary, negotiating revisions. Reviewing and approving all back up submitted by the contractor for each draw request. Ensuring all lien/claim releases are executed with all progress and final payments and that title is clear at project closeout.
· Managing and monitoring construction related invoices, pay applications, change order management and associated issues such as credits and back charges.
· Tracking actual time and budgets costs throughout the project and providing written reports including progress photos to department heads as required.
· Managing funds for the project and compiling lender funding requests.
· Ensuring delivery by contractor of all project closeout documents including operations and maintenance plans for all completed work.
· Performing additional assignments as required by the needs of the company.
· Coordinating with legal and corporate departments regarding contract, claims, indemnity and insurance requirements and revisions. Responsible for the collection and enforcement of consultant and subcontractor insurance compliance documentation.
Location
· The CM will be based in the firm's Miami office and must be willing and able to commute to the office every day. No relocation expenses will be provided.
Experience & Qualifications

A large heavy civil general contractor in West Palm Beach, FL is looking for a Project Superintendent to oversee an FDOT project in Fort Lauderdale, FL. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Safety:
• Responsible for overall job safety as per the safety manual for the particular job.
• Insure that Test holes are dug where required and marked out.
• Report any damage to Utility lines to the Project Manager.
• Ensure that jobsite meets all OSHA standards including cleanliness.
• Ensure that everyone on the site is following all safety protocols - AHA's and Tool Box Talks.
Payroll and Equipment Reports:
• Submits daily time sheet each and every workday.
• Ensure accuracy of time sheets and equipment.
• HeavyJob competency preferred. Will train if necessary, but is a requirement for this position.
Scheduling:
• Coordinate all work with Sub-contractors
• Coordinate all Utility requirements with providers.

Planning:

Supervision:
• Supervises and ensures that all tasks are carried out by Foreman.
Must Have:
• B.S. Degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering or related field with 3 to 5 years of related experience. Prefer at least 3 years' experience in a superintendent role on a contract with a value of $10M+.
• Experience supporting excavation and piles or sewer/wastewater treatment plants; or experience in Heavy Construction (site-work, roads or environmental)
• Must be capable of meeting deadlines, self-motivated, detail oriented; have above average interpersonal skills and have excellent follow-through capability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast paced environment; able to accurately process written documents, perform duties in a timely manner, be highly organized and able to interface/communicate effectively with company, clients and field personnel at all levels.
