Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate all on-site activities, including subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring adherence to deadlines and milestones.
Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
Monitor project budgets and costs, identifying and implementing cost-saving measures where possible.
Maintain open and effective communication with project owners, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Proactively identify and resolve potential project issues and conflicts.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with project specifications.
Mentor and develop field staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
Participate in pre-construction planning and strategy meetings.
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with applicable building codes and regulations.
Manage project closeout procedures, including punch lists, final inspections, and documentation.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 20 years of progressive experience in construction management, with a focus on large-scale projects.
Extensive hands-on experience in high-rise residential (20-30 stories) and/or healthcare construction is essential.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with budgets ranging from $80 million to $100 million.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage and motivate teams.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
OSHA certifications are a plus.
Compensation and Benefits:
Base salary range: $200,000 - $210,000 per year.

The incumbent will review approved construction drawings and coordinate work designed by architects and engineers, as well as performed by general contractors, ensuring compliance to Florida Building Codes and STOF ordinances, rules, and regulations. The incumbent in this position is responsible for ensuring timely delivery of quality projects demonstrated through strong residential construction technical experience. The incumbent must be proficient in CSI codes and divisional trades. The Superintendent will oversee and manage all on-site activities, collaborating with the project team, including but not limited to project managers, field personnel, and other departments, to ensure projects are successfully delivered on time and of desired quality. This position requires extensive interpretation of various technical data in written, mathematical or diagrammatic form. Adheres to workflows, processes, and procedures to ensure the successful completion of assigned tasks according to schedule.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or similarly related field is preferred. A Minimum of five (5) years of experience in construction management, site design development, procurement, bidding and negotiation processes, contract specification, negotiation and execution or related field is required. An equivalent combination of education/training and experience may be considered. A current State of Florida General Contractor's (GC) License is required; or the ability to obtain the GC License within 18 months of assuming position is required. Possession of a valid Florida Driver's License is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to travel to all Seminole Tribe of Florida Reservations and to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
