We have two distinct areas to our business and projects - our large projects division and multi-site programs.
In large projects we do large open store remodels for the likes of Walmart, Target, Publix and Kroger, typically renovating an entire store across a number of months. On our multi-site program, we do large volume work with may consistent of hundreds of stores in a particular specialism such as upgrading ceiling or floor tile, or fitting pharmacy rooms. This work is again vast and large ranging but includes the likes of Dollar General, CVS and Walgreens. We are also now doing a lot of quick serve restaurant work which could include working with the likes of Starbucks and McDonalds.
We are looking for someone who is proactive & a strong problem solver. With our work across 30+ states, you need to be willing to be on the road most of the year, a valid drivers license and access to your own vehicle.
Since most of our jobs operate in an open store environment, strong communication skills are an essential part of this role.
You would ideally have a background in commercial retail work, and have strong finish carpentry skills. Previous experience working on open store remodels would be a definite advantage. Key Responsibilities
Blueprint and Drawing Interpretation: Accurately read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings to execute project tasks.
Framing: Perform framing using wood or metal studs for both residential and commercial projects.
Drywall and Finishing: Hang, finish, and prepare drywall for painting and final touches.
Concrete Finishing: Complete concrete work as needed, ensuring quality and precision.
Casework and Flooring: Build and install casework and complete flooring tasks as assigned.
Site Cleanup: Assist in maintaining a clean and organized job site.
Communication: Convey critical site information to the Site Superintendent and provide regular updates.
Safety Compliance: Follow all company and OSHA safety policies and procedures, actively participating in safety meetings and programs like the Good Catch and Near Miss programs.
Flexibility: Work overtime, nights, and travel to job sites as needed.
Qualifications
Experience in framing, drywall hanging and finishing, painting, flooring, and casework installation.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings accurately.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and supervisors.
Willingness to participate in company safety programs and adhere to OSHA regulations.
