Company Commanders are primarily accountable for everything that happens or otherwise in their unit. Their duties include preparing their unit for combat, ensuring their unit has a high level of readiness, and providing their unit with battle-focused training. They provide specific guidance for planning, resourcing, performing the company's functions.

As a company commander, you'll be responsible for maintaining the health, welfare, morale, and discipline of the members of your unit. Also, you'll oversee the control, administration, operations, and logistics of your unit. Additionally, you'll enforce established standards, develop and implement policies and procedures, and resolves issues as they arise.

To become a company commander, you must be a member of the company and must have undergone extensive training. You must possess decision-making, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
