The Field Engineer II has completed at least one year working in the construction industry in a full-time role. He/she will be familiar with a variety of construction disciplines such as Safety, Estimating, Project Management and Operations. The Field Engineer will be given responsibilities and decision-making authority. He/she will not be required to perform manual labor in this position but will actively and independently manage those who do.
Has a basic understanding of:
• Logistics: Develops, approves, and communicates construction logistics plans, verifying they are in place and clearly understood. Ensures that projects are proceeding according to these plans.
• Plans and Specifications: Reads and interprets construction plans and the technical specifications to aid in constructability review. Ensures submittals are approved prior to proceeding with work.
• Project Cost Management: Monitors, tracks, and forecasts self-perform and subcontractor project costs and quantities, including labor, equipment, and materials to ensure projects are successful and profitable.
• Safety: Ensures the safe execution of all work activities and ensures adherence to our safety regulations to protect all individuals. Verifies and coordinates work activities to comply with Skanska EHS program and corrects unsafe activities, actions and conditions.
• Subcontractor Oversight: Monitors, inspects and ensures subcontractors are performing the work safely, are adhering to schedule, and are producing quality work in line with subcontractor agreements and our client contract obligations.
• Quality Management: Establishes processes to meet quality standards. Monitors work practices to identify concerns or issues that do not meet these quality standards. Follows contract provisions for necessary corrective action.
• Schedule Development: Develops, communicates and follows schedules and timelines. Tracks information important to maintaining schedule adherence.
• Building and Construction Knowledge & Planning: Applies building and construction knowledge, utilizing experience and current developments in the industry to prepare detailed construction sequence plans including all necessary material, equipment and labor.

Under the Clinical Supervision of the Medical Director of Respiratory Care and the overall supervision of the Manager of Respiratory Care and Respiratory Care Supervisor the Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) provides safe, expedient, cost-effective Respiratory Care services. As a member of a team of health care professionals, an RCP evaluates, treats and manages patients of all ages with respiratory illnesses and other cardiopulmonary disorders in a wide variety of clinical settings. Respiratory Care Practitioners behave in a manner consistent with the standards and ethics of all health care professionals. In addition to performing respiratory care procedures, RCP's are involved in clinical decision-making (such as patient assessment, treatment selection and reassessment of treatment efficacy), goal directed respiratory care planning and patient education. RCP's are required to document in the patient medical record factual, accurate, complete, timely, legible and legal information about the care they provide to each patient. Each RCP is responsible for billing the patient correctly for the services provided.
Responsibilities
1. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patient. Assess the appropriateness of prescribed respiratory care by acquiring and evaluating clinical data and assessing the cardiopulmonary and overall status of the patient based on the age of the patient.
2. Initiates a respiratory care plan upon admission to Respiratory Services identifying primary respiratory problem, goals and interventions. Updates care plan at least once per shift relative to the progress toward the goal.
3. Initiates respiratory care, evaluating and monitoring patients' responses to such care, modifying the prescribed respiratory therapy and cardiopulmonary procedures and life support endeavors to achieve desired therapeutic objectives. Provides and records all patient and family education in patient medical record. Maintains confidentiality of all patient information.
4. Participates in life-support activities as required, responds to Trauma, High Risk Deliveries, and Code Blue emergencies throughout the hospital. Provides therapeutic interventions with oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, airway care, lung expansion, bronchial hygiene, invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation. Provides and assesses information from respiratory parameter studies, peak flow measurements, pulse oximetry monitoring, ABG/VBG/CBG results, capnography, pulmonary mechanics and graphics monitors, hemodynamic monitoring, and cardiac output monitoring. Monitors, provides oxygen and airway support to patients receiving ICD changes.
5. Uses universal precautions appropriately and performs proper handwashing between each patient. Learns and uses Respiratory "Red Rules" and Patient Safety Behaviors to provide safe patient care.
6. Uses department "scripts" to effectively communicate with other departments, patients, families, coworkers and students in person or over the phone.
7. Demonstrates safe operation of all equipment in compliance with department policy, safety, disinfection, infection control and quality control standards. Demonstrates effective computer skills for electronic charting, billing and respiratory order processing.
8. As directed by the supervisor, may have additional responsibility as charge therapist and or preceptor for students and or new employees.
9. Participates in In-Service Education, Patient Rounds and Conferences and maintains 24 hours continuing education credits per year.
Minimum Requirements
American Heart Association BLS Certification
Associate Degree or higher in an approved CoARC program for Respiratory Care.
Active licensure with the North Carolina Respiratory Care Board upon hire and is maintained yearly.
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Registry Eligible with RRT credential obtained within 1 year of graduation.
American Heart Association ACLS, if not current at time of hire, must complete within first 6 months of Employment and maintained.
If working in the Children's hospital you are required to have AHA PALS and NRP in place of the AHA ACLS and you must have completed the NBRC NPS exam by 12 months from your orientation end date.
For non-medical center Respiratory care departments AHA BLS and ACLS are required. AHA PALS and NRP are required at 6 months from hire date.

Responsibilities
Cryptologic Technicians Interpretive (CTIs), serve as the Navy's experts in linguistics (including Arabic, Chinese, Korean, Persian-Farsi, Russian and Spanish) and deciphering information in other languages. Their responsibilities include:
Collecting and analyzing foreign language communications of interest
Transcribing, translating and interpreting foreign language materials
Reporting highly technical information of strategic and tactical importance to fleet commanders and national intelligence agencies
Providing cultural and regional guidance in support of Navy, Joint Force, national and multinational needs
Operating sophisticated state-of-the-art electronic radio receivers, recording devices, computer terminals and associated peripherals in the communications signals environment
Work Environment
Cryptologic Technicians perform a variety of duties worldwide, at numerous overseas and stateside shore commands, aboard surface ships, aircraft and submarines and with Naval Special Warfare. They generally divide time between assignments ashore and afloat.
Cryptologic Technicians Interpretive can expect a clean, comfortable office-type or small technical laboratory-type environment while on shore duty and a variety of air, surface and subsurface platforms while on sea duty. Their work is of high interest to command and decision-making levels. It is mostly mental, involving foreign language materials.
As a CTI, you may work independently or as part of small, coordinated teams - ultimately under the supervision of Cryptologic Warfare Officers (four-year degree required) or Cyber Warfare Engineers (four-year degree required).
Training & Advancement
Upon completion of initial training at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes (known as Boot Camp), you'll report for specialized training, including:
Class "A" School Phase I Defense Language Institute (27-64 weeks) in Monterey, CA, for comprehensive foreign language instruction.
After "A" school, CTIs are usually assigned to their respective Center of Excellence shore station. While assigned to these shore stations, CTIs are often required to perform temporary assignments aboard aircraft, surface ships and craft and submarines in support of unit commanders.

Advanced Training

Qualifications & Requirements
A high school diploma or equivalent is required to become an Enlisted Sailor in the Navy. Applicants must also meet eligibility requirements for a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information security clearance. Normal hearing is also required.
They should have exceptionally good character, the ability to learn foreign languages, above average writing and speaking skills, a good memory, curiosity, resourcefulness, an orientation toward ideas and information and the ability to keep accurate records and work with details. Adaptability to a wide range of work activities and environments and an interest in technology and willingness to acquire computerized skills are also important.
Applicants for this rating should be aware that the duties of a Cryptologic Technician Interpretive sometimes require assignment aboard surface vessels, submarines and aircraft. If otherwise physically qualified for submarine or aerial flight duty, applicants must affirm their willingness to serve aboard any such unit if assigned upon completion of language training.

Part-Time Opportunities
There are part-time opportunities available as a Cryptologic Technician Interpretive.
Serving part-time as a Navy Reserve Sailor, your duties will be carried out during your scheduled drilling and training periods. During monthly drilling, Cryptologic Technicians Interpretive in the Navy Reserve typically work at a location close to their homes.
For annual training, Cryptologic Technicians Interpretive may serve anywhere in the world, whether on a ship at sea or at bases and installations on shore.

Summary/Objective:

Development and coordination of activities program designed to promote the residents' active involvement with each other, their families and the community, and involve staff in implementing program goals.
Responsibilities
Develop and coordinate activities designed to promote the active involvement of residents living in an Assisted Living Community.
Demonstrate involvement with all residents, staff, residents' families, volunteers and community resources.
Maintain a written updated residents' interest list and capabilities.
Using the "Activities Supervisor's Guide", plan a minimum of 14 hours of group activities and individual activities per week taking into consideration residents' interest.
Prepare a monthly calendar for planned activities in large print and post in a prominent location on the first day of each month and update as needed before the activities take place.
Include the following types of activities on the posted calendar: social and recreational; diversional and intellectual; work-type and volunteer.
Participate in evaluating the overall effectiveness of activities program at least once every six months.
Assist the residents in transportation as related to the activities program when so indicated by ED/Administrator.
Plan for assisting residents to participate in, at least one outing every other month.
Take inventory and purchase activities' supplies including recreational equipment, supplies for games, books, current magazines, and daily newspaper for living and recreational areas, so as to operate within the community's budget and according to administrative policy.
Receipts for activity supplies must be signed and kept on file for ED/Administrator.
Help maintain the self-respect, personal dignity and physical safety of each resident.
Report any accident/incident to ED/Administrator, Administrator-In-Charge or SIC.
Work cooperatively with all other staff and relate favorably to residents and families.
Be familiar with confidentiality of resident information and adhere to requirements.
Be familiar with and able to apply all the home's accident, fire safety, OSHA and emergency procedures.
Be familiar with the Adult Care Home Residents' Bill of Rights and assist residents with exercising these rights.
Assure careful treatment of Adult Care Home equipment and utilization of supplies.
Be responsible for reading and adhering to all Adult Care Home and Employee Policies.
Participate in job-related continuing education as per ED/Administrator's instructions.
Perform other related duties as assigned by ED/Administrator.
Qualifications
Must have a valid NC Driver's License.
Must have had at least 8 years of driving experience, as this is a requirement of company's liability insurance carrier.
Must be able to Lift, Push, or Pull minimum of 50 pounds.
Must have a High School Diploma or GED, or have passed the Alternative Exam provided by NCDHSR
Must be able to read, write, and understand and follow directions
Must have good written and verbal communication skills
Must have course-related studies, or have at least six months' experience working in a recreational environment with individuals in a group setting
Must possess good computer skills
Must have a two-step tuberculin skin test (first test prior to hire and second test within two weeks of first test)
Must maintain resident confidentiality and Residents' Bill of Rights
Must not have substantiated findings on the NC Personnel Registry or Health Care Program
Must have a clear SBI and DMV record and maintain during employment period
Must have or obtain certificate for the basic activity course for assisted living activity directors, within 9-Months of start date.
