Monitor charge posting for accurate insurance coding and timely processing.
Develop procedures to ensure reconciliation of charge and payment posting.
Respond to patient account inquiries, questions, and complaints when necessary.

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for registration of outpatient and inpatient services, processing of forms, obtaining consents, collection of money, review of accounts for outstanding balances, receipt and dissemination of information to appropriate areas of the hospitals, and compliance with all Federal and State mandates. Receives demographic information from various sources (i.e., Paragon, patient and/or family member, etc.) and processes the information where appropriate.
