Work closely with the Director of Medical Surgical Operations to ensure timely month end close and reconciliation of collections posted to the bank. Identify and create solutions to problems relating to the timely processing of claims. Monitor claims submissions, payments, and denials to identify trends; report any issues to the Director of Medical Surgical Operations. Monitor charge posting for accurate insurance coding and timely processing. Develop procedures to ensure reconciliation of charge and payment posting. Respond to patient account inquiries, questions, and complaints when necessary.
