Short-term non classified employees may not exceed 160 working days within a fiscal year (July 1 - June 30) and may not exceed 19 working hours per week and may only occupy one primary assignment within the District.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
U.S. Citizenship.
The ability to pass a NACI (Tier 1) to obtain access to U.S. Government facilities and systems.
Bachelor's Degree and three years of relevant SCC work experience within the last five years. Internship or graduate work experience can count towards the experience requirement for up to one year.
Potential waivers for the three-year experience requirement for SCC interns, graduate assistants, or honorably discharged military members and spouses, subject to COR-RA pre-approval.
Certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or from the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCA) as a Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC).
BLS or CPR certification with AED, certified by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
Capability to handle loads up to 45 pounds and to meet the physical demands of outdoor training in various environments.
The ability to travel 10% as needed to support geographically dispersed units.
Additional desired experience and skills:
Active NACI.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams).

In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $55,248.64 to $82,873.53; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.

Teach

Assessing and aligning each member with the proper program

Has a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or a related field (preferred).
