Extended Learning Department 121 Vine St., Everett, MA 02149 EPS is seeking teachers to support Girls on the Run, an after school running club for girls and students of other marginalized gender identities in grades 3-5. Coaches would participate in pre-program training in March 2025 and run activities 2x/week from 2:45-4:15 using the Girls on the Run curriculum. They would also be responsible for supervising participation in an end of season 5k race, scheduled for May 31st. Coaches will also be responsible for behavior management, attendance, tech assistance, parent communication, student outreach and retention, maintaining safe programming and supervising dismissal. Girls on the Run will provide all curriculum, materials, and training. WORKING TIMES: 2x/week 2:45-4:15 pm for 8 weeks starting April 1st and running until June 1st, 2025. One coach training session on EITHER March 12th, 19th, or 27th from 7:00pm - 8:00pm REMUNERATION: $40/hour worked. This position also requires referees to act professionally and to serve as role models for the participants. Referees are required to wear referee jerseys when working a game. Assist in all aspects of teaching skills and strategies for the football program with a specific emphasis on coordinating the defense. 2. Adhere to and support all rules, conditions and regulations as set forth by Worcester State University, Conference affiliations and the National Collegiate Athletic Association pertaining to all aspects of the team's management. 3. This position requires collaboration with coaching staff, effective communication with the school district and community, and a commitment to fostering an educational and competitive sports experience. Responsibilities: * Assist the Head Coach in coordinating and supervising the athletic program and team. * Support the development and implementation of training and game programs to enhance athlete performance. * Provide guidance and mentorship to athletes, encouraging physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship. * Collaborate with the coaching staff to ensure the athletic program is executed effectively and in alignment with school guidelines. * Ensure all athletic activities comply with MIAA guidelines and standards. * Communicate effectively with school district members, the community, and booster clubs. * Work closely with booster clubs and community organizations to strengthen program support. * Adapt to change and handle additional tasks as assigned by the Head Coach. * Support the value of education and the overall mission of the school district. Head Golf Coach at the Middle Senior High School

The assistant football coach is responsible for assisting the head football coach in running an NCAA Division I (FCS) football program by recruiting academically qualified prospective students-athletes, developing and implementing training sessions, practices and game plans, educating and coaching student-athletes, and supporting student-athletes in their personal, academic and athletic development at Merrimack College. This full-time position reports directly to the head football coach and must act in accordance with NCAA Division I (FCS), Merrimack's Athletic Member Conference(s) and Merrimack College rules, regulations and policies. Primary Responsibilities: Assist in running the offensive side of the program at the direction of the head football coach. Participate in the recruitment of high-quality student-athletes, including managing a recruiting area and involvement in on-campus visits. Participate in the development of student-athletes, personally, academically and athletically. Assist in coaching a position group; help plan and run training sessions and practices. Scout opposing teams and assist in the breakdown of video for teaching purposes and game planning. Attend coach and student-athlete meetings. Help monitor the academic progress of student-athletes. Represent the program with the highest level of professionalism, sportsmanship and integrity. Help foster and maintain a culture that demonstrates a commitment to NCAA rules compliance and institutional policies. Participate in departmental activities including staff meetings, compliance education, guest speakers and other events/meetings.
