Head Crossfit Coach
Coach Job In New Hope, MN
Our business model is unique. We partner with private high schools to give them certified coaches who supervise their weight room, implement our strength/conditioning programming for the athletic teams, and provide professional fitness/wellness opportunities to the school community. However, simply improving physical fitness and performance is not our end goal, and it's also not how we thrive as a business, because it's not WHAT we do that matters, it's WHY we do it.
Our purpose is to equip people to face, fight, and persevere through challenges, not just in the weight room but in life. Exercise is not the end goal for us, in fact, exercise is simply the tool we use to elicit change on a much deeper level; the mindset. We do this by creating an inclusive and supportive environment, which means anyone can come to us to work on themselves, no matter what their goal is or where they are starting from. When our clients walk into our room, they know that everyone is there for one reason, to better themselves. Our clients expect to struggle, and it is our job to help them persevere because it is the cycle of struggle and perseverance that produces discipline. Once discipline has been built in the weight room, that same principle can be translated to all other areas of life. Therefore, we are not in this business to only build better bodies, we are building better people.
So, who are we looking for? A PSC Coach is not someone who simply eats, sleeps, and breathes fitness. A comprehensive and scientific understanding of the body and programming are the minimum requirements.
A PSC Coach is someone who strives to be the best version of themselves on a daily basis and is motivated to use their experiences and expertise to help others. We are passionate about hiring people who believe in what we believe in and want to be a part of our vision and purpose.
Head Strength Coaches have two main areas of responsibility.
The managing and implementation of our strength/conditioning programming for the athletic teams. Our programming is not chiseled in stone and is open to constant challenge and improvement. In addition to working with athletic teams, the head strength coach is expected to handle limited individual coaching clients.
The managing and performance of the day-to-day operations of his/her's assigned facility. Primary responsibilities include managing all coaches working at their facility, the relationship with the parent institution, and the overall experience of all clients/teams attributed to their facility.
