Responsibilities: As an assistant Coach you are directly responsible to the Head Football Coach and the Director of Athletics. The coach of an individual sport must realize that any activity sponsored by EHS Athletics is part of the total program offered by EHS. Individuals in charge of such activities must utilize sound educational principles and goals if athletics are to be a worthwhile part of the overall school program. Some of the duties of the coach shall include: DUTIES Coach individual participants in the skills necessary for excellent achievement in the sport involved. TITLE: LGRAC Intramural Referee DEPARTMENT: Athletics & Recreation SUPERVISOR: Robin Ducharme EXTENSION: 6517 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Referees will be expected to referee intramural or club games, keeping players safe and the games under control. This position also requires referees to act professionally and to serve as role models for the participants. Referees are required to wear referee jerseys when working a game. This position also requires that referees communicate with captains/coaches to ensure games start in a timely manner. Responsibilities: Assist the Head Coach in coordinating and supervising the athletic program and team. Support the development and implementation of training and game programs to enhance athlete performance. Collaborate with the coaching staff to ensure the athletic program is executed effectively and in alignment with school guidelines. Ensure all athletic activities comply with MIAA guidelines and standards. Communicate effectively with school district members, the community, and booster clubs.
