Some of the duties of the coach shall include: DUTIES Coach individual participants in the skills necessary for excellent achievement in the sport involved. Maintain accurate records of team lists, injury reports, scores of games, stats (report to athletic office and newspapers as requested), incident reports, physical examinations. Be available during the entire school year to lend assistance in guidance and counseling to his/her team members, i.e. scholastic achievement, college entrance, citizenship. Responsible for determining the athlete's academic eligibility. Be responsible for information contained in the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association Handbook and the EHS Student Handbook. Oversees the safety conditions of the facility of the area in which the assigned sport is played at all times that students are present.
