Essential Job Functions * Works as part of the leadership team with the building principal. * Provides assistance in conducting needs assessment strategies and program evaluation. * Identifies, plans, organizes and conducts professional development opportunities relevant to school needs; researches, identifies and models best practices. * Assists with Title I school-wide budget process. * Provides direction and support to Title I schools in the development of School Improvement Plans (TSIP) regarding regulations, inventory, and professional development research and implementation. * Conducts internal audits to ensure that all ESEA (Elementary & Secondary Education Act) requirements are included and met. * Works closely with building level leadership team in the development and implementation of professional learning communities and sustains the change process required to operate as a PLC. * Assists teacher teams in creating, administering, and analyzing data gathered from the results of common formative assessments. * Provides assistance to building level leadership team in collecting artifacts such as team norms, meeting agendas, standards documents, common formative assessments and meeting protocols from teacher teams to monitor and assess their progress. * Assists teacher teams in developing and implementing a school-wide pyramid of interventions based on the results of commonly administered assessments. * Assists teacher teams in implementing a guaranteed and viable curriculum by prioritizing, unwrapping standards, creating common standards and pacing documents. * Collects, organizes and completes information necessary for reports and evaluations. * Performs other related duties as assigned or directed. The position is extremely important to the long-term success of player development within our club. Job statement: Retention, growth, and development of all female players within Lobos Rush. The individual selected must have the requisite skills and personality to positively affect all players, parents, and coaches. This is a full-time salaried position with opportunities for supplemental income. The position will include flexible working hours but will also require you to work nights and weekends during the season. Qualifications ● Minimum of USSF B license or Equivalent (or in process of attaining) ● 3-5 years of youth soccer club experience, specifically with female athletes ● Ability to maintain positive relationships with Lobos Rush staff, membership & greater soccer community ● Excellent communication skills ● Strong conflict resolution abilities ● Technologically proficient The DOC would report directly to the Technical Director. On occasion the DOC may be required to report to one of the respective committees/subcommittees for various projects and initiatives. The DOC's role is focused into 3 distinct areas, Player Development, Coach Training/Management and Parent Education. The secondary area of responsibility is Club Development and Promotion. The DOC's time should be predominantly spent on the field (70%/30% - field/office) interacting with players, coaches & parents. Player Development 1. The main area of player development for the DOC is a very strong focus on developing the technical ability of all Lobos Rush players. This will involve a complete program evaluation with the TD and the formulation of a development plan (curriculum) that satisfies the needs of each player at every level. 2. Player Development Programming (PDP) for assigned age groups. The DOC will be required to organize and oversee all PDP for their respective age groups. The PDP should reflect the player development needs for the age groups and level of play. An agreed upon budget will be made available for hourly coaches to appropriately staff each session. The DOC will be required to present a plan to the TD with specific goals and structural content for club training at each age group. 3. Team evaluations. DOC will be required to regularly attend team training and games to evaluate team performance. 4. Age Group Training. DOC must conduct regular age group training to ensure development across the age group and for player identification. Coach Training/Management 1. Direct management of all coaches within their designated age groups. 2. Formal, annual evaluations of every coach in their department. 3. The DOC will also serve as the first point of contact in any conflict resolutions between coaches, players & parents. 4. Must conduct regular coaching meetings (virtually & in-person). 5. Organize and oversee in house and external coach training. DOC must also be the point of contact with TSSA, USSF and USC to ensure coaches are appropriately licensed and risk management cleared. 6. Implement a coach development & recruitment program to help expand the clubs coaching pool. Parent Education 1. Work closely with parents to educate them on the development needs of their child. 2. Run new family orientation meetings to educate families on the goals and objectives of the organization. 3.     Purpose and Scope The Graduation Coach is engaged in high school graduation assistance activities, including but not limited to working with students, school faculty and staff, parents, and guardians. The Graduation Coach will provide assistance to all high school students, individually and in groups, regarding high school graduation and completion, including but not limited to analyzing data to identify students or subgroups with potential high school graduation problems; planning, implementing, and tracking individual high school graduation plans; identifying and resolving barriers to graduation; and facilitating career choices and planning. Essential Job Functions 1. Identifies and counsels high school students at risk of dropping out and develops strategies to continue to engage them in learning throughout their high school career, using relevant academic and behavioral data and other measures.2. Develops and implements Engagement and Career plans for students who are at risk for not graduating, working with teachers, counselors, parents, employers, mentors and other individuals or organizations that have responsibility for or that significantly influence the student's personal and school life.3. Reviews and monitors student's Engagement and Career Plans each semester and make adjustments, as necessary; and work with appropriate parties when student is not adhering to Engagement Plan.4. Provides training and/or support to middle school and high school teachers on support measures that work with youth identified as at risk for not graduating.5. Works with faculty and administrators to develop credit recovery and alternative options to adapt curriculum and differentiated instruction to meet the needs of identified at risk students.6. Develops and implements individual, small group, and whole school intervention and prevention strategies to increase the likelihood that students will stay in school and graduate.7. Develops Transition Programs and Vertical Teams with Middle and High Schools8. Conducts quarterly vertical team meetings among middle and high school faculty and staff to develop action steps to improve individual student and subgroup transition success rate.9. Collaborates with teachers, counselors, and/or advisors to assure the continued use of the transition process for 8th graders and freshmen to help students successfully adapt to the rigors of the high school experience.10. Facilitates collaborations with parents/guardians, community organizations, and other resources.11. Connects individual students and their parents/guardians with community organizations and programs. 12. Develops or works with local mentoring programs, business and/or community coaches to connect individual students with mentors.13. Provides support and outreach to parents/guardians of students identified as being at risk of not graduating.14. Provides and/or submit reports as scheduled/requested.15. Attends and participates in ongoing professional development.16. Performs other duties as needed or assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in education, training, subject field, curriculum or related content area. Master's degree preferred. A valid Tennessee certificate in Teaching, Service (School Counseling, School Psychology, and/or School Social Work), and/or Leadership Knowledge required.
