In this role, you will:

Implement physical performance optimization programs aligned with unit schedules, operational tempo, and cultural norms
Create and propose evidence-based, periodized strength and conditioning programs that support unit missions and individual Soldier tasks
Track and report Soldier/unit progression, submitting a standardized monthly report to the BDE PD
Assist in developing training programs for Soldiers with physical limitations who are medically cleared for reconditioning
Ensure the synchronization of all strength and conditioning services with the broader H2F Performance Team initiatives
Coach and mentor BDE SCCs and unit fitness leaders, providing education on physical strength and conditioning and injury mitigation strategies
Promptly refer Soldiers with new or undiagnosed medical conditions to appropriate medical professionals
Maintain meticulous documentation and reporting of data as per BDE PD instructions
Participate in H2F System reviews, identifying best practices and suggesting improvements
Compile and submit a comprehensive monthly BDE summary report to the BDE PD

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
U.S. Citizenship
The ability to pass a NACI (Tier 1) to obtain access to U.S. Government facilities and systems
A Master's degree in any field
Upon COR-RA pre-approval, the master's degree requirement may be waived by possessing a bachelor's degree and five full years of SCC experience; two of which will be operating independently within the Army's H2F program
A minimum of three full years of relevant SCC work experience within the last 5 years; internship or graduate work experience can count towards the experience requirement for up to one year

An active/current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification OR active/current Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification with Automated External Defibrillators AED certification; must be certified by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
The ability to travel 10% as needed to support geographically dispersed units
Capability to handle loads up to 45 pounds and to meet the physical demands of outdoor training in various environments

6. Perform a variety of administrative responsibilities by collaborating with the Director of Athletics and department staff in managing meal money, requesting transportation, scheduling non-league contests, and assisting with budgets for your respective sport.
7. Uphold and enforce all the rules of the NJCAA Code of Conduct, the Frederick Community College Code of Student Conduct, and department and team rules as described in the Student-Athlete Handbook and the FCC Handbook for Coaches.
8. Recruit student-athletes according to the NJCAA guidelines, as well as those established by the College.
9. Assist student-athletes with transfer to senior institutions by making contacts, sending videos, writing letters of recommendation, and requesting scholarship information.
10. Field and maintain a goal of 20 eligible student-athletes to sustain the team throughout the season, adhering to academic guidelines for participation in compliance with NJCAA standards.
11. Conduct team practice sessions that are stimulating and encourage skill development and teamwork.
12. Collaborate with the Assistant Director of Athletics & Communications to complete, maintain, and report team and individual statistics as required by the Maryland Junior College (MDJUCO) Conference Operating Code.

Requirements Coordinator/Host:
Commit for the entire season (7-week season - Bar Sports; 8-week season Team Sports);
Must be able to get to scheduled game 30 minutes early and are encouraged to interact with players at sponsor bar location after the games;
Must have the ability to update the scores on a nightly basis (smartphone);
Must create a hospitable environment, provide organization, cheerleading, and general oversight of games in their league;
Must be able to attend New Hire Orientation and League Training;
Must send at least 1 weekly e-mail to communicate any changes, game times, news, or upcoming events (
coordinators only, unless league only has one host);
Must maintain league equipment bag during the season when applicable
(coordinators only);

Great, flexible part-time position having fun and making a difference in kids' lives!
JumpBunch is a fun, structured, enrichment program that introduces children to over 70 different sports and fitness activities. JumpBunch is taught at preschools, daycare facilities, elementary schools, and recreation centers. You will be fully trained to teach 30 to 60 minute sports activity classes, following professional lesson plans, with provided equipment, to children ages 15 months to 12 years.
We focus on building sports skills and confidence with kids to help develop a life-long love for physical activity. We need energetic, positive, and skilled coaches to work with kids at their schools to introduce sports and physical fitness.
We offer part-time work
Approximately 5 - 15 hours per week,
Morning and afternoon hours available typically shifts are Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. and between 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Full training and lesson plans for each class provided.
This position is to work at facilities in Arlington, Alexandria, Annandale, Falls Church, Burke, Fairfax, and Springfield.
The ideal candidate lives in Virginia due to coaching times and commuting.
JumpBunch coaches required factors:
Must be at least 18 years old
Must pass a background check and/or FBI fingerprinting
Ideally has experience working with groups of children (15 months - 12 years old) doing organized activities, preferably sports and/or fitness activities
Are reliable and flexible to work a variety of days and/or times of day
Are fun, enthusiastic, self-motivated, energetic, and creative
Can work independently, following established curriculum
Have a reliable vehicle to travel to classes carrying several medium to large bags of sports equipment
Have good classroom management skills
Are friendly, cheerful, patient, and personable with the children, center administration/staff, and parents
Must be patient and have a desire to work with children
Only need part-time employment
JumpBunch coaches desired experience:
Playing organized sports
Coaching organized sports
Practiced, successful customer service techniques
Duties
Prepares for all classes by reviewing approved lesson plans.
Arrives for and begins all classes on time.
Properly instruct children in the use of our approved curriculum and equipment.
Positively communicates with school directors and teachers regarding all aspects of the JumpBunch classes.
Monitors attendance of all registered children and insures they are present.
Collects payment for classes (not in all cases)
Wears approved uniform and presents a professional image.
Communicates with parents both verbally and in writing as needed to report children's progress or challenges.
Adheres to all JumpBunch policies as outlined in the Operations Manual.
Properly completes all requested paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
Provides advance notice or coverage for any foreseen absences.
Provides own transportation with adequate auto insurance coverage.
Brings all equipment necessary to execute weekly classes.

The Assistant Robotics Coach is an integral member of The Potomac School's robotics program. This is a part-time role, working with other coaches in support of the robust program. The Upper School robotics program is managed and overseen by the Director of the K-12 Robotics Program. This role will include approximately 4-6 practice hours each week in addition to attending all VEX VRC competitions held on weekends. This person would also travel with the team as an additional coach/chaperone for the multi-day State, National and World tournaments, if the teams qualify.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist Upper School Robotics coach to manage all the day-to-day operations of the US Robotics program.
When asked, communicate with parents and students, information pertaining to the program (in consultation with other faculty members involved).
When asked, work directly with the Transportation Manager to arrange all bus transportation for all tournaments or competitions (if needed).
Maintain equipment and, with prior approval, purchase needed supplies.
Chaperone tournaments and competitions; providing supervision of students at all times.
Mediate conflicts as teams navigate and discuss the ideation process.
Partner with other coaches and all students to help them seek solutions in a positive collaborative manner.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering or a deep technological background with an understanding of the engineering design process.
Ability to communicate, motivate, and understand the students' educational and emotional needs.
Must be flexible, collaborative, a creative problem-solver, calm, empathetic, and have the ability to multitask.
Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively with other teachers, support staff, parents and members of the community.
Ability to recognize and respond to individual and cultural differences in students and use different teaching methods that inspire high student achievement.
Enthusiasm and joy for working with students.
Ability to apply the engineering design process, including documentation in a design notebook; demonstrate and emphasize the value of creativity in the design process; articulate and tech best practices for robot design and building
Must be familiar and comfortable working with software and mechanical elements including: Robotics hardware and software, programming, AutoCAD software, Troubleshooting, Chassis design, drive trains, arms, lifts, and mechanisms
Knowledge of tournament competition preferred
